Title: Saves a bundle on food waste
Review: I can now shop for bulk frozen food items and not have to worry about freezer burn. I break down the items in to serving size, zip it closed and using a vacuum pump remove the excess air from the bag. It allows me to store more items in the freezer, label the bags with what it contains along with the cooking instructions and most of all not throwing away food because of freezer burns. It also works great when I want to dry marinade meats.

Title: Bags work very well but the hand pump is junk
Review: At first, I nearly tossed the product because I thought it was so poor. Despite appearances, I decided to test it out. To my surprise the bags did hold a perfect seal for quite a while. But I also discovered that the hand pump is (ridiculously poorly made) junk. The bags deserve a five-star but the hand pump that they include in the set, deserves less than one star.I already owned a mechanical (rechargeable) handheld pump which works perfectly with this product. I sometimes use Ziploc sandwich bags for portion control. I seal portions inside ziplock food bags and then put it inside these sous vide bags and my mechanical pump removes the air from both the inner portion bags, the ziplocs (that speaks to how airtight those sandwich bags are) and the actual vacuum bag. They are reusable. I have not found out how many times you can vacuum seal a bag, I've not reached a limit yet. I'm constantly pulling things out of the freezer, opening it and removing what I need. So far they've worked perfectly after resealing it.I absolutely adore them and have already purchased more bags. I use them in the refrigerator for produce protection, in the freezer to prevent freezer burn, and for dry storage (but not powders). The seal on the bag is super strong, way better than anything I've ever experienced. They have a large size that I believe will work with documents so I'm planning on protecting some important documents that way. I also recommend using the little closing tool that they provide and I just leave it in a handy spot on the counter when I'm not using it.Please note: The seal on these bags are not designed for liquids or powders, if you vacuum too strongly or too long, it will pull the liquid/powder through the vacuum seal as well. This potentially could go through the machine and wreck your pump.

Title: Great For Freezer Use
Review: These bags work very well with my food sealer. I've sealed hamburgers to be stored in my freezer, and these bags fit the bill. I've also used them to store cooked lobster meat in my freezer as well. I highly recommend this item. these are the only sealer bags I have found since Ziploc that I can actually reseal!! I love the system

Title: diffiicult to get suction to work.
Review: Sturdy bags which sous vide adequately. Difficult to get good suction. Poor instructions inside. Finally had to go to YouTube to figure it out. Still not always working well.

Title: So useful and easy to use!
Review: It is easy to use and handy. There is no need to take out the electric device for everyday use like freezing vegetables and small leftovers. Besides making food last longer it saves space in the freezer.

Title: Not a good seal, pump broke quickly
Review: These were never very good. It's not that hard to put the little pump over the hole and suck out most of the air, but then it don't really hold that vacuum. If you use it immediately, it's okay. If you put something in the freezer, expect to come back later and find it's basically just like you put your food in any old zip-bag. Biggest deal breaker is that the little pump is not sturdy, and without it you can do nothing. It failed on my pretty fast, and it's 100% required, so... not a good purchase.

Title: Pump takes a little practice
Review: Once you get the feel of using the suction pump that comes with it, how well it vacuums is actually impressive. I've not actually used them for Sous Vide yet. So I can't speak to how good they are for that. I have used and reused them as freezer bags several times now. And for that purpose they work wonderfully.

Title: They do not hold a seal on dry stuff
Review: So first off I will but these again when they wear out but I have 2 issues with them. There is good points below. The first issue I have is these do not hold a dry seal. I have tried probably 5 different times on 4 bags and can not get them to keep the seal on coffee beans for longer than a day(my other bags work great but also cost like 3 times as much). Then you need the hand pump as the food saver pump does not work for it(maybe their electric pump will work but it's a nasty suction to get the valve/seal to break to start the suction). The good,These are super durable I have washed 8 bags 3 times each and they still hold a seal as well as the first time. These bags hold enough of a seal to keep freezer burn off steak and chicken. These take a min to get the seal started with the hand pump but it is pretty easy to do.Again I will buy these again just not for my bulk coffee beans/dry stuff.

Review: Aunque al inicio cuesta un poco de trabajo aprender a usarlas, después son muy utiles. Resisten muy bien tanto a bajas como altas temperaturas, ojalá tuviera más bolsas el paquete.

Review: Different from a previous manual pump and I was wondering how well it would work. It takes a bit more pumping than my previous job but came with are more bags of different size.

Review: This was just a game changer for me. I've been sous viding for awhile, using my vacuum/seal machine until it broke. Had 2 of these machines. Well, with these bags and pump you get the same result, with no machine. For 30sgd? I wish I knew this product before!

Review: Dislike: the pump, after many uses, either wears out or the handle breaks; the different size of bags is great as I sous vide (and also store) food a great deal; but the down side is they wear out or a small puncture occurs and renders the bags as useless! Likes: pump works great (and wonderful exercise for the arm); the sizes of bags are a wide range of storage and cooking uses.

Customers say

Customers like the quality of the bags. They mention they do a great job at preserving food. However, some are disappointed with the ease of cleaning and pump quality. Opinions are mixed on functionality, ease of use, sealability, and value for money.
