Title: Hope and excited for living with autoimmune
Review: I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was so overwhelmed when I started looking into the autoimmune protocol diet. After reading this beautiful cookbook, I feel so hopeful and truly excited about the future of food for me and my family. It feels like the capsule wardrobe of the kitchen. I've struggled to be appetized by food for some time now and reading through the recipes, every single one sounds so delicious, like it's just what my body needs. Thank you for this!

Title: Easy to follow directions. Sauces are great and can be added to many different meals.
Review: I love the recipes in this book. So many great ways to cook and feel like you are not on a restricted diet. The best part is that the recipes don't keep you in the kitchen all day like You usually would be on the AIP diet. My favorite so far are the sauces because they are allergy free and I can batch make them and add to a variety of meals. The pictures are great and make me want to try them all. I prefer that the sauce recipes are put together because it makes it easier to premake them and add to other meals. This makes it more versatile. We are already very restricted. I would hate to have to look through the entire book for a sauce bacause I want to change it up a bit.

Title: Not that simple.
Review: There is a lot of good information at the big inning about the AIP diet, the elimination process, etc., but the recipes are not simple. Most of them have so many ingredients. A LOT of prepping and a lot of baking recipes using ingredients that I wouldn’t even know where to get. There are soooo many recipes and not enough pictures. I recommend looking for Mickey Trescott’s books if you are new to AIP and don’t have a ton of time you can dedicate to meal prep.

Title: Awesome Easy to follow recipes
Review: I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have been using AIP recipes to attempt to help with by auto immune illness. Diet truly does make a difference. Sophie has done such a wonderful job putting this book together with recipes that are not only good for your body they taste absolutely wonderful. I do not feel like I am missing anything. For instance I have been missing mexican foods, I made the AIP Natchos, Spicy Guacamole and the Lime Sea Salt Tostones for dinner the other night. I did not tell anyone that it was "AIP" Everyone loved the meal. Everything was so easy to put together as Sophie has very easy to follow directions without having to have many different types of special foods on hand. This is my favorite AIP recipe book and I am so appreciative that I have it to use. Thank you Sophie!!

Review: I don’t have a specific autoimmune disorder but do have food intolerances, some acute, others tolerable. I have been mainly paleo for a lot of years now and have tried strict AIP to help with gastric problems, inflammation, pain and general fatigue. The protocol worked very well and improved my general health. I found however that I became bored with eating mainly the same things and resented not eating the same as my family. This book is full of recipes that both I and my family can enjoy together. I have tried the honey lime chicken and peach salsa and the sweet potato gratin. There are many recipes I can’t wait to try. So lovely to have a book with easy AIP recipes and not too many ingredients. Thank you Sophie for making it easy and interesting to follow the AIP protocol.
