Title: Stop using plastic wrap! Great for asparagus, broccoli
Review: Works like a charm and easy to clean. Very basic: put water in the bottom, put the veggies on the tray and drop the lid on; open the vent and microwave to steam. Have not had an issue with it being too hot to remove from the microwave, but have never used longer than 2 minutes. If you overload it with too much or thicker broccoli (I almost always use broccolini, so rarely an issue), the lid may not sit down tight - too bad there's no clamp to hold it. I usually put a couple of coffee mugs on it while it's on the counter waiting to be placed in the microwave. Not sure this size would work for a family - as a couple, we eat more veggies than protein and we fill it with broccoli just for the two of us. Love that we are no longer using and tossing plastic wrap multiple times a week!

Title: Nuthin' Fishy Here
Review: Got this steamer the day after I ordered it. I could tell it was a quality item right away. At the fish store I picked up some cod filets about 4 inches long and 3/4 inch thick. After letting one filet thaw, I put a little olive oil on top, some salt and pepper and some paprika. Threw in about 6 pieces of aspergas, put some water in the base of the steamer, set the microwave on 50% power for 4 minutes and let 'er fly. Food was not done after 4 minutes so I did it again using the same power and time. The food still wasn't done so I went for 2 1/2 minutes at 70% power and....presto...perfectly done fish and aspergas...delicious. Now, that was my first time and here is what I learned. I put too much water in the base so a lot of my microwave energy was used up heating the water into steam. Next time I will use 2 tablespoons of water as recommended in the instructions and I know that will cut down on my cooking time. Also I will set my microwave power at 70% for 4 minutes and that should do the trick. No fishy smell in the microwave...no fishy flavor in the aspergas. Each microwave is diferent so start out with lower power settings and time until you get a feel for what your microwave can do. If you start out on full power and too much time you could over-cook your food. I now look forward to many hassle-free no mess fish meals. I highly recommend this product...and Amazon.

Title: Amazing product
Review: I canât even begin to tell you how awesome this product is! I bought it after seeing it advertised on Facebook (for like, 2-3x the price) and hoped for the best. As someone who struggles with eating healthy this has helped immensely. I have eaten fresh fish every day since I got it, and my stomach is so nice and flat! I was always puffy from my poor diet. Youâll be happy with this if you like salmon, thatâs been the thing that comes out the best so far. I add 3 tablespoons of water to the bottom and a glaze (thereâs a sesame ginger one I love to death) to the salmon filet. I cook it for 3 minutes on high. It comes out cooked perfectly: moist, flavorful, and flaky. I honestly canât believe that this is what microwaved fish looks like! I wanted to share my pictures in case thereâs another skeptic out there like I was. Itâs very easy to use, just keep it simple and youâll get the hang of it. I donât add any oil or butter by the way. Just the glaze. 🙂

Title: Fine basic steamer
Review: This is a nice basic microwave steamer. My only complaint is that it comes with no directions. Zero. I had to play by ear to figure out how to steM. The product itself is sturdy. It can go in the dishwasher but takes up a lot of room on the top rack.

Title: One of the most impressive products that I have EVER , EVER...purchased!
Review: This steamer, if it showed up on SHARK TANK, would have been JUMPED ON by all the Sharks! It is so simple, so easy to use, works so well...delivers on every promise. The guy who invented this is a multi-gazillionaire by now! You put a little water in the bottom tray...you put the little tray with hole on top of that. You place your vegetables on that tray. You put the lid on. And you pop the unit in your microwave. It takes a little experimenting to figure out the best cooking time for various vegetables. You figure all that out pretty fast. EXAMPLE: Of course something like Brussell Sprouts are more DENSE than SQUASH. So they need another minute or so. If you mix all of your various vegetables together, then you just figure out a compromise time. I can tell you right now... Single guys who watch their diets will LOVE THIS thing!! They will pile on the vegetables...3 minutes later...wham! Super hot, tender vegetables...ready to go. Put a little cheese on if you can handle the calories...or just add some other kind of condiment. This thing is a 6-star item! If you are looking for a 2 or 3 serving size STEAMER? THIS IS THEEEE ONE!Paul / Texas

Title: Good steamer for the price.
Review: Cannot grip the lid from above, have to use edges to remove cover.. Also not as tall inside as I thought..But this is still a great steamer and I use it regularly.

Title: Great for vegetables
Review: I've had this steamer 4 months now and use it 2 - 3 times a week. I wanted a better way to cook frozen vegetables. Cooking them in a covered glass container was my old microwave method and I could never drain the water off well enough. This steamer is great for that, the vegetables don't sit in the water at all so they're perfectly drained when they're done cooking. It easily handles a one-pound bag at a time. Then I tried cooking fresh vegetables and they cook quickly too, so fast and easy and I think the flavor is much better than other cooking methods. Even two ears of corn, done in 6 minutes! (4 min. cooking, 2 min. resting) The ears were big and the lid didn't enclose them completely but it didn't matter, they were perfectly cooked and delicious.Cleanup is quick, I just rinse it by hand. I put it in the top rack of the dishwasher before using it the first time so I know it will stand up to that, but the vegetable bits rinse right off.I love this little steamer!

Broccoli, Asparagus, Brussels Sprouts, Carrots (whole) 5-8 minutes. Fillet fish (average) 4-7 minutesNOTE:- Test every 2 to 3 minutes with a fork to keep your vegetables or fish from over cooking.- Before you open the lid, you have to open the steam vents all the way so you donât get steam explosionwhen you open the lid. Be careful of escaping steam when you open the lid.- Do not seal the lid after cooking, otherwise might overcook.I tried this steamer to steam tofu in banana leaves wrapper, as you can see from one the photos that i attached here. Please vote âYESâ to the question: âWas this review helpful to you ?â If my review help you .It means so much to me to knowing my review has help someone.Thank you very much!

Review: It doesnât click together like I thought it would. Instead, the lid just kind of sits on top of the base. Also, I lost the green centre thing that you adjust based on what youâre steaming but it works just the same.I wish it was a little deeper to hold more food but overall, itâs super easy to clean and does exactly what I wanted which is to steam my veggies fast so I donât lose much nutrients.
