Title: Collapsible Convenient Steamer
Review: This was the second microwave steamer I purchased the first one was like disposable Tupperware. I threw it away and bought this steamer. It’s is sturdy, convenient, and just the right size to steam veggies for 2-3 people. Clean up is easy and I’ve been using this for two years. Simple, practical excellent product. And steaming is a healthy way to cook.

Title: Worked great to warm up chicken from dinner last night and steaming fresh carrots!
Review: I steamed carrots in this, and they were perfect. Then I put my leftover grilled chicken that I had got from Outback Steakhouse (1/2 of the “grilled chicken on the Barbie” from last night) for 45 seconds and let it sit for a minute or 2. The chicken was the perfect temp and tender again- tasted wonderful! The water underneath kept the chicken from drying out like it seems to do when you warm up chicken in the microwave. Love this!

Title: It is too soft !
Review: This product cooks veg really well but carrying it to Microwave after prepping the veg is hard as it is soft and things inside move around ! On the same token if I have to check the stuff inside half way through, I would have the same issue of being hard to take out as it bends and again the same putting it back. If there was a harder base that would have fixed the problem.

Title: A wonderful alternative to the bags you can no longer find
Review: I got hooked on the Ziploc Zip-n-steam bags for cooking fresh and frozen vegetables. But now they seem to have disappeared from the market, so I started looking for an alternative. All the other "steamer" bags are incredibly cheap and poor quality. Then I came across this, and - WOW. It WORKS. It's absolutely perfect for steaming fresh or frozen vegies.The small size works well for two people. I can fix enough fresh or frozen vegies for dinner in about 5-6 minutes, depending on type.I got the large size as well because I wanted an alternative to cooking up chicken for chicken salad in the crock pot (4 hours!). Just tested that today, and it seems to work fine. It took about 15 minutes to do the job, and the chicken is cooked more evenly throughout than in the crock-pot. (For large amounts I'd still use the crock-pot.) One thing on this model - it really IS too large for many microwaves. But there's a simple solution - just cut off the outermost tip of each handle. You'll still have plenty of handle left to hold the steamer, but it will no longer bump into the sides of the microwave as it rotates.Regarding cleaning, my understanding is that you CAN put this in the dishwasher, but I've just been rinsing it out with a soapy sponge - it clean up very fast and easily.As an extra plus, besides no longer having to worry what to do when my supply of steamer bags runs out, this is one more way to reduce my plastic waste and help the environment.

Review: I ordered the small steamer & it's the perfect size for my needs. It's just the 2 of us but it could easily hold a bit more if needed. (It'll hold a small 1.5 lb bag of baby potatoes) I thought it was a bit pricey when I saw it but was worth it as I use it all the time. I love steaming baby potatoes, any sort of veggies really. They cook fast & makes weeknight meal prep so much quicker. I just toss with herbs, spices & olive oil or butter afterwards..yum!! I put barely a tbsp of water in the bottom & just leave the lid a bit "ajar" & it works great to let a bit of steam out. Seriously love this thing!
