Title: Perfect the first time!
Review: I just tried this and got an absolutely PERFECT egg! I like mine on the cusp between soft and medium. Looking at other reviews, I am concerned the product may not hold up or continue to perform as well.But first time use it was flawless. After being on the counter a few minutes, it returned to its original colours. I will update if any problems pop up. One thing I did learn is to put the eggs (and timer) in a pot of cold water. When it comes to a boil, turn off and cover. I did not realize that "boiled eggs" are not actually boiled! In my case, the colour changed exactly as it should over the next passing minutes. I just peeked under the lid now & then to see how far along it was.

Title: Perfectly cooked eggs.
Review: Used it the other day to make a dozen hard boiled eggs and it turned into perfectly cooked eggs. I will be using a timer the next few times I use this to experiment the consistency of how long it takes for a soft, medium or hard boiled eggs to cook. Reason is so that I don’t have to rely on this method, constantly watching and checking on the color, but instead to just relax while I wait for it to be done.

Title: Waste of money, they don't work... I'm going back to my ugly OG timer.
Review: I cooked a dozen and half of eggs twice with 3 of the timers in a big pot and some came out under cooked, some over cooked and some were ok. I've never had that happen before with my old egg timer. Ever. It just got old and cracked, otherwise I would have never purchased new ones, don't waste money on these, they don't work right. I mean they are supposed to make boiling eggs easy, not stressful. Ended up throwing all of the eggs away along with the timers and ordering my OG timer. I just thought these looked cute. My bad. Never again...
