Review: This Hot Dog Roaster has a VERY long handle, which is great for using around the camp fire. It has good weight to it, so am confidant it will last a long time. I got this for my son in law, who is a camping fanatic! I told my Daughter I got him this for Christmas and she is convinced this will get a lot of use! They have been looking for something like this. I cannot wait to give it to him*** My opinions are my own and we're not influenced by the seller in anyway. Title: Bad design
Review: Like another reviewer i have an old one that we really like but i wanted a longer one. With the old one, both poles come all the way down to the handle, so you can open and acess your cooked meats very easily. This one, the latch and opening mechanism is right up by the meat so it gets very hot and is hard to open to retrieve cooked meats. It is very disappointing. The design of the old one is more functional!!!

Review: LONG handle and works great with a roaring fire, you can cook a few dogs quick without burning your knuckles, or using a stick that breaks into the fire. The wood is a little soft; I wouldn't leave it hanging outside year round as the rain will eventually decay it.
