Title: Loving the layout!
Review: I have only had the book for a short time but I am loving the layout, the photography is great and the recipes are clear and include helpful tips for storage which I appreciate. I still miss cheese and the first thing I opened the book to was Tangy Blue Cheese so I gave it a go. I'm no into the 'leave it on the counter to ferment' method and Sam's cheese recipe doesn't call for that. While not tasting like the blue cheese I remember this was still delicious on its own, I used it on crackers, a bagel and a burger and it was great. The Sunflower Parmesan was a surprise, I really didn't think it would replace my go to vegan 'parmesan' but it was really good and I will use it as a less expensive alternative to cashew parmesan. The Red Lenil Pate is a flavor bomb 10/10. Finally, the last recipe I have tried so far is the Fiery Black Bean soup, it's a good soup but not what I would consider 'fire' She does give instructions on how to increase the spice level. Nice basic soup. Great intro with good tips at the beginning of the book. She gives prep/cook times that for me have been accurate and the recipes are well written and beautifully photographed. The book came with several bonus options that were quickly emailed to me including bonus recipes and a cooking class which I will definitely take advantage of.

Title: So many good recipes
Review: I have loved Sam forever, so I think I preordered this and was counting down the days till it got to me. It's just so good!! The tofu ricotta???? Game changer! I use it for a vegetarian lasagna and my daughter had no idea she was eating healthy. And the fact that she even ate it and liked it is very telling. Sam is genius.

Title: BEST COOKBOOK EVER!
Review: OMG y'all! You have got to buy this cookbook! Whether you're vegan, omni, vegetarian or you simply want to incorporate more plant based food into your diet, it's full of scrumptious, comforting and drool worthy recipes for every craving! Every recipe is vegan but there is no complicated methods or ingredients. Every ingredient is easy to find. I've been following Sam Turnbull on her YouTube and her blog itdoesnttastelikechicken.com for years now when I had to go dairy free. I had purchased all ger cookbooks! The first one was my most used cookbook I ever had and now I'm determined to try every recipe in her new cookbook because all 101 recipes look so yummy and divine. Every recipe has a gorgeous full color photo even photographed by Sam herself. I want to make every single recipe in this book and there are so many! Excuse me while I go make some pierogies and baked spaghetti!

Title: Excellent!
Review: You know that thing you do when you sit down with a new cookbook and you put a sticky note on the recipes you want to try? Well, I was putting sticky notes on all the pages and that is not normal for me! I've been a long time fan of Sam and her website, 'It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken'. I have over 100 vegan cookbooks and I own all of Sam's. Sam's cookbooks are a favorite of mine that I reach for often. She has interesting recipes that aren't the same old things. She has lots of recipes that will become basics for you. I enjoy the look and layout of her books as well. Her instructions are easy to follow and she uses ingredients I already have in my well-stocked plant based kitchen. I also think Sam's books are a great choice if you're new to the plant based world. She's also adorable and I enjoy her YouTube videos and her website is great as well ... head over for more recipes!

She has an excellent pallet that helps her create just the right flavors for me in my kitchen. Review: Just started trying the recipes and theyâve all been outstanding so far. I love the way the book is organized by craving! Eggy carby chocolatey etc. Itâs very intuitive. Every recipe is illustrated and the ingredients are labeled in an easy to follow format. I also really like the description at the top of each recipe which really whets your appetite.

Review: I have just spent a very happy time going through my new copy of Samâs latest book with a pad of mini post-its, marking the highest-priority recipes I plan to make. Like her two other books, this one is well laid-out and very enjoyable to browse through, with fantastic photos and great hints and tips. I love that it is organised by cravings, although I feel like reading it has created all the cravings for me!! I canât wait to get stuck in and start cooking. I have made many of Samâs recipes from her books and her blog, and Iâve never been disappointed, so Iâm super excited for these new ones!UPDATE: so far Iâve made the folded egg sandwich, the mung bean veggie scramble, the beer and cheese soup, the fondue, the dippy egg yolk, the cinnamon buns and the snacking cheese. All were absolutely fantastic and I canât wait to make so many more of the recipes! The book is brilliantly laid out and I so love having a photo for every recipe. Highly recommended to both new and established vegans, or anyone else who loves delicious food! Itâs simple enough if you are new to the lifestyle or cooking for a vegan friend or relative, but so good that even if youâve been vegan for years, youâll get excited!!!

Review: This is Sam Turnbull's best cookbook. I have all three of her books. I love that some of my favourite recipes from her website "itdoesnttastelikechicken.com" has made its way into this book (eg. seitan steaks, blue cheese). Some may wish to see all new recipes not on her website. However, I wish Sam would compile her best recipes from the website into printed cookbooks. I would buy everyone. The recipes are in Sam's signature style, simple easy everyday ingredients for everyday cooking that are tasty and will have you cooking her recipes on repeat. Don't hesitate to buy this.
