Title: A life saver for me
Review: I'm so thankful I found this book. I was overwhelmed and stressed about what to make for daily meals moving forward, after finding out a family member has really high cholesterol. Now I'm feeling informed and prepared, and am enjoying my newly discovered recipes! It feels completely doable to me now, 100% because of this book. I'm grateful that the recipes are easy to make, as that's something that's held me back in the past, when recipes are complicated. There is so much great information in here too-- in addition to the recipes, there's also an action plan, tips for dining out, and a list of websites/resources by topic. It's thoughtfully written and the recipes are delicious. If you find yourself in a position of needing to make life changes due to cholesterol, I highly recommend this book.

Title: Recipes loved by my whole family!!
Review: My cholesterol numbers have always been on the high side, but, at age 51, when they came back even higher than usual, my doctor said we would recheck in 3 months and then talk medication. That got my attention. I purchased this book, as well as Heart Solution for Women by Menolascino. I was sold on this book due to the reviewers that said they liked every recipe they had tried. That has been true for our family as well. My husband and 2 teenage sons genuinely like the turkey meatballs, crockpot Hawaiian chicken, and Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Pork Roast. Since we all like them, they have replaced other less heart healthy dishes in my usual rotation. I love that the recipes are not any more difficult (and sometimes easier) than what I ususally cook, and that there are crock pot recipes included. Also, I only had to purchase a few ingredients that I didn't normally keep on hand, like almond flour and barley, but they were easy to find. I made a big batch of slow cooker white beans and barley and froze it in lunch size servings for convenience. I would agree with the reviewers who said the introductory cholesterol basics were helpful but not overly involved. This allows you to jump right in making changes and understanding the why behind them. I had my bloodwork rechecked this week and am thrilled with my results: 60 pt decrease in overall cholesterol, 51 pt reduction in trigycerides, and 37 pt reduction in LDL!!! I'm going to continue on this path in hopes that my results are even lower in another 3 months. I read that it can take up to 6 months to realize your full results, and that women tend to take longer. If you are looking to get more "in the weeds" on the physiological side of reducing cholesterol, I would recommend the book I mentioned above. It's a nice compliment to this one. I left a review for it as well. I'm so thankful for both these books, and am writing this review so that others can be helped by the information as well.

Title: GREAT RECPIES AND INFORMATION!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Review: I recently had my second set of 3 stents in my heart sooooo, needless to say, I was in search for some good recipes that would prevent me having to have ANY more!! I have made several recipes from this cookbook and they have ALL been great. My next adventure will be to try the cashew cream to see if it really does replace using cream cheese and see how the avacado ice cream is. Cannot imagine it being good but I am certainly willing to try. The recipes are easy to follow and use ingredients that I already have! A huge plus. I wish I had my cookbook with me now so I could specify which recipes I really liked. I do remember the beef stroganoff though and it was DELICIOUS!!! Knowing it was not clogging my arteries made it taste even better!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Nice to know I won't have to only eat dirt to stay healthy!!

Title: Not many photos
Review: The front section is good - educational for those just entering the high cholesterol environment, or for those trying to control it via nutrition and not Rx. There are plenty of recipes in this book if you eat meat or fish. No photos of the dishes, though. There's also no salad recipes - the vegetarian section is sparse - the veggie selections aren't universal - if you like asparagus, you'll like this section. I did find some poultry recipes that seemed interesting. The spiral is 5 stars! The book overall is kind of disappointing.

Title: Fine Dining Nightly. Love this Cookbook!
Review: I absolutely love this cookbook. It has been very useful. I initially followed the weekly meal planning and now I am trying out the recipes and creating my own meal plans. All the recipes in this book are very easy to prepare and all the ingredients for me have been easy to find. I write notes in the margin of each recipe I have tried referencing the tastiness of the recipe. I would have to say almost every single one has been a fine dining delight. There are a few recipes that I did not like but I know that is typical of all cookbooks. My favorite recipes so far have been the Chicken and Zucchini Burgers, Baked Sweet Potatoes Fries, Slower cooker Hawaiian Chicken, Steamed Rosemary Trout in Parchment with spinach, Spiced Baked apples, Blueberry Blender Nice Cream, Butternut Mac and Cheese, Creamy Oat bran with Apricots to name a few. I could go on and on though. Recipes are well laid out and very easy to follow. All easily made within 30 minutes. The author has given excellent information to eat healthy and living a lower cholesterol and heart healthy diet and lifestyle change. Its easy and very satisfying. I have shared my food with friend and they love it. My 15 year old picky daughter likes the food. Yay, now that is something to be said. Can't say enough on how much I like this cookbook. I also have shared this info with friends and family.

Title: Amazing!
Review: I usually never write reviews whether the product may be good or bad but this cookbook is amazing! I just found out I have elevated cholesterol and I am also not much of a cook or a fan of it but these recipes are soooo easy and so easy to follow, but most importantly actually taste good. I also love that the author provides a list of the items you need for each recipe. Highly recommend!!
