Review: Just like the title says, all about the different types of steaks. Plus it has the accompanying side dishes and BBQ sauces. Pretty complete but you should get a good meat thermometer to get it exactly right to your taste. Would make a great gift. Photos are outstanding.I might have to get another one for my son so he could cook me a great cut of steak for my birthday or Father's Day.

Review: Finally, the steak cookbook I’ve been wanting. I’m challenged when cooking meat. I’ve been looking for a well laid out and well explained steak book. From the graphic at the beginning that shows location of various cuts to the simple steak recipes to the perfect sides recipes, this is the best steak cookbook I’ve come across and I have several highly rated meat cookbooks. I’m so happy with this steak cookbook, that I wish there was a similar one for other types of meat.

Title: More than I could have ever wished for from a simple cookbook!
Review: I've been cooking many tasty pastries for the last few years, and I wished to make a ton more steak dishes than I did, because steak is my favorite food. So far so good. However, the only 2 cookbooks I possessed contained less than 5 pages on beef between them. This book gave me the confidence to make all sorts of delicious dishes, and I love the fact that every page has a photograph! Finally, I believe the best feature of the book is Chapter 4: Sauces and Sides, which teaches the reader to make steakhouse/smokehouse staples, like hash browns, mayo, BBQ sauce, and even Triple cooked Fries!

Review: This is a really good book with good recipes. My only problem was that I expected it to talk more about the differences in cuts of meat, when really, its just a cook book full of recipes. Don't get me wrong, good recipes, I just expected more. I will continue to use this book, however.

Review: The book starts out with a run-down on the various cuts of steak and how to cook them, and follows up with a whole host of marinades and recipes with steak at their core. At the end of the book there's a section for sauces and accompaniments. Normally I prefer cookbooks that offer a broader variety of options, but this one does spectacularly well at showing off the diversity of flavours you can get from one versatile core ingredient.
