Title: Works To Make Eggs Somewhat Easier to Peel
Review: Over the decades, I’ve bought several devices that claim to make it easy to peel boiled eggs I gave them all away or threw them out. Only once did I bring deviled eggs to a party, and only because the hostess requested it. I hated peeling eggs because rarely did I have perfect egg whites without gouges. Recently a friend brought deviled eggs to a party, and they were delicious, so I ordered this device.It simply puts a sewing needle-sized hole in the egg, but it is much easier to use than a sewing needle, and you don’t have to worry about breaking the yolk membrane. You set the egg on the device and push it down about 1/8 inch, and the device puts the hole in. Then you boil the eggs. When I first used this, I put some 3 week old eggs and some 3 month old eggs in, half with the hole and half without. Most of the eggs peeled without scarring the white. The eggs with the holes peeled faster and easier. I imagine this would make a bigger difference with fresher eggs, which would have more perfectly oval whites!This gets 4 stars for doing what it said it does, but not five as the difference wasn’t as big as I had hoped.

Review: This stainless steel egg peeler for hard boiled eggs is really small. It fits in your hand. Luckily, it is easy to use, and it is helpful. It works pretty well and is sturdy.
