Title: Heavy duty peelers
Review: Model: 7, Pro I Peeler + Y Peeler These are sharp and heavy duty peelers. They are heavier in weight than most but they do a good job. I mainly use the straight peeler but I do use the Y peeler for tomatoes. They are dishwasher safe but I wash it by hand. Well made.

Title: Nice old fashioned peeler
Review: This is a nice set of stainless steel peeler's in the old-fashioned style. I have one of the newer ones which go the other direction and can do peeling and then Julian on the other side of it. My roommate absolutely despises the thing and he wanted one of the old school ones. So I actually found these online and snag them up. They work just like the old school ones that you remember from your childhood. Because they're all stainless steel you can just drop them right in the dishwasher too, so it works out great and he's happy.

Title: The smoothest glide
Review: I got this for the longer piece I was used to peeling potatoes with, but I found both styles that this set came with to be very nice and easy to use. They hold some weight to them which makes it great for getting a good grip on the skin. The blades were very sharp and allowed for an easy and smooth peel. It's not made of a cheap plastic and actually is a nice investment for your kitchen if you cook a lot. Even just as something to have, I feel like it's a real quality set of items that work beautifully. Would recommend.

Title: Peels OK, but that's about all
Review: My husband "misplaced" my old OXO standby vegetable peeler, so I thought this would be a good replacement. The narrow peeler did fine on peeling an apple and a carrot, and the larger one did OK, but when it came to the other features like shredding or cutting the kernels off an ear of corn, it was sub par. I can use a knife to cut kernels off an ear of corn much more effectively, and a grater outperforms the "shred" function. Both pieces are dishwasher safe, which is a plus.

Title: Vegetable peeler
Review: Has a blade design I haven't seen before. But seems to work well. Sharp. Good length & shape. Easy to hold in the hands.

Title: Interesting design. Y Peeler is fantastic to hold, even with my trigger fingers.
Review: I've never seen peelers designed like this with tiny teeth before, but I have to say, these peelers work great. I like the Y peeler the most, because I have trigger fingers and the handle is designed in a way that makes it extremely comfortable to me. You really should hand wash your peelers, but we're kind of not so good about that and put them in the third rack of our dishwasher 90% of the time. These cut so nicely, that I have to admit, I'm willing to stand there at the sink and hand wash them to make sure we get to enjoy them longer, but you will ABSOLUTLEY need the brush they provide to clean out those tiny teeth. And they are remarkably attractive being solid metal. That's another reason I'm willing to fuss with hand cleaning these, they're just prettier than any of other peelers we have in our drawer.

Title: Kitchen Tools that Make Life Just a Lil Easier
Review: I ordered item #7, the Pro I Peeler and the Y-Peeler from the collection of kitchen items on this page. I expected a pretty ordinary product to replace the old potato-peeler with its bended blade I've used for the last few years. I was quite surprised with this set arrived; it's superiority to the bargain-store kitchen tools I'd been using was instantly obvious out of the box. These pieces are weighty, making them much easier to control and maneuver. That also makes them feel good in the hand. The quality of their manufacturing is head-and-shoulders above the ones I had with excellent blades for more effective kitchen prep. Both pieces, btw, have multiple functions for fancier cooks than me. It makes quick work of whatever you're prepping whether a couple of carrots or a pot of potatoes for a large potato salad, which I will probably make for the first time in two years now that I have the right tool to make it fast and easy.

Title: Heavy metal quality peelers
Review: These peelers are both heavy in weight and in quality. The vegetable peeler skins potatoes like they are made of butter. The blade is extremely sharp. The 2 blade peeler can turn a carrot, zucchini, or any vegetable of your choice into slaw with little to no effort. Peel tomatoes to prepare them for stew, take the skin off an apple, pear, or papaya to make slicing them very easy. These just feel good in you hand and won't cramp your hands while in use. I am very happy with this purchase. I expect these to last a lifetime and stay sharp.
