Title: Because there aren’t any instructions you may want to read this.
Review: Before you use this I suggest you apply heat to the plastic tip the cigarette is inserted into to stretch it slightly where it attaches to the barrel for a tight fit or your cigarette will fall out and this can be hazardous. To do this, apply flame or submerge cylinder into boiling water for 5 seconds then immediately insert a tool, apply slight pressure for 10 seconds then check the fit. Repeat this step until it’s secure. I used the flame method, passing the flame back and forth a few times then used Kelly forceps. A small scissor or tweezer may work. Each filter IS marked 1-4. Look closely, it’s there in a circle near the air vent circle. Thin hand rolled cigarettes can be used if you wrap a rolling paper around the bottom. Kings also can be shoved in there. Pull off the mouthpiece and turn slot until the longest part is aligned with the vent hole and both are facing up when in use to remove the maximum amount of tar. Wipe clean with tissue after every few uses. Keep in mind this is just a tool. You must want to really quit and commit to cutting down on how many you smoke per day. Right now I’m using number 4 and I’m down to 3 cigarettes a day. I would also like to add that while using these extenders my lips aren’t as dry, my teeth are whiter and I wish I had been using these all along. Good luck to you all!

Title: Wasted Money Defective Filter
Review: This product ended up being defective. The second filter I couldn’t move air through and didn’t move to the second step until today because my dog was hospitalized and a week later put to sleep on March 29, 2019. I would have sent back as defective if I could have moved on to filter 2 to exchange for a new filter but it looks like it’s too late to do that now. Money wasted and I desperately need to quit smoking!

Title: The Only Game in Town
Review: The product is as advertised for gradually cutting back on cigarette smoking. But unlike the product I used 30+ years ago to stop smoking over the course of a year, this product, that I to help my daughter to quit, is extremely flimsy. In fact, this is the third time I’ve ordered it for her. While they keep breaking on her, with the plastic cracking and developing holes, she likes the method when they DO work and as far as I can tell they are the only one using this type of method.

Title: the quality isn't as good as it used to be
Review: I agree with others when they say the quality of these filters has gone down over the years. The plastic piece that holds the cigarette itself is very loose and will absolutely fall off if it is not taped on. With that said, this system has helped me quit smoking. I used this system a few years ago and was able to quit. I started smoking again a couple of years after quitting (oops) so I ordered this system again. As mentioned, the quality isn't as good as it used to be, but the system works if you work it. Obviously​, you have to want to quit as you will have some slight withdrawal symptoms when switching between filters, but nothing like going from smoking normal cigarettes to not smoking at all. I am now 72 hours past my last cigarette and other than slight irritability, I feel pretty darn good. My cravings are nothing compared to the cravings I have had in the past when attempting to quit cold turkey without this system. I took my time, however, with this system. I used the number 1 filter for about 1 month, the number 2 for about 6 weeks, the 3rd filter for 6 weeks, and the number 4 filter for (get ready) 4 months! I didn't need to use them as long as that, but like I mentioned earlier, you have to be ready to quit and I wasn't for life reasons. I wanted to take my time, cut back, and dramatically reduce my cravings before taking the cold turkey plunge. That is the great thing about this system. You can use the filters for as long as you want (as long as you clean them haha). I know I have rambled, but I just really want to drive the point home that these things really do help people quit smoking. 4 stars only because the metal was replaced with plastic.

Title: Omg I've finally quit!
Review: I have to admit I was skeptical at first but after using these filters I was finally able to quit. I haven't smoked in 3 months, which after 17 years, is the longest I've ever gone while trying to quit and the cravings are finally gone. I can't believe Im at this stage because I loved smoking, couldn't get enough. This product works if ur willing to put in the effort to quit for good.Use the filters as instructed. When you finally decide to try and quit, you'll still want to smoke and will have to have some self control. I kept using the 4th filter for a couple months before I finally bit the bullet and said I'm not buying anymore cigs. I also vaped some CBD and chewed nicotine gum at the beginning when I had cravings and then eventually didn't need them any more. But these filters really made a difference this time.First it gave me a visual of the tar I'm inhaling with how much would build up in the filter. You will need to clean it every couple days as that residue will build up. I used cotton swabs. Second, it didn't hit as hard helping me ease of them easier.If you want to quit, use these with whatever else you can find that will help you on your journey.Even if you don't want to quit or aren't ready, use these filters just to make the cig a little "healthier" by reducing the nicotine and tar. Still not gunna make cigs healthy but hey, better than smoking without the filter.
