Title: Worked Perfectly!
Review: I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this sim card, and decided to give it a try. So basically, if you follow all the instructions written in the user manual that came with the sim card, it will work fine in Europe.Since I purchased the activation required sim card, as soon as I received my sim card, I immediately completed the activation application online via the link provided in the manual. We are advised to complete the activation process at least 2 days before the date of use. The info needed in the activation process was simple - Amazon order number, activation date, ICCID (SIM card barcode number that starts with 89) and email address, and that's it. You will receive an email after completion for confirmation.On the day of travel, I only inserted my sim card when I was in the air and my phone was on airplane mode. So when I landed, I was able to use it right away.There were some text messages that came in through the sim card number as soon as I turned on the line. It was saying "Your GBP10.00 Top-up's good to go - so your new balance is GBP0. It's a 35p per minute, 15p per text, and 10p per MB of data....". I basically just ignored the messages, as the sim card worked perfectly fine in the UK for my one week stay. I even made a few calls in between and the data connection was stable and good (remember to turn on the data roaming for this sim card). I did not have to go in to the APN settings.But when I went to France, I had to go in to the cellular settings to adjust the network selection on my phone. It was default to be automatic on my phone, but if I turned that off, I can select different telecom lines that provide stronger network connection. Once I selected the telecom network of my choice, it worked perfectly fine in France, no other steps required.I would purchase this sim card again for my next Europe trip.

Title: bogus, can't activate, not working at all
Review: I bought this for a trip in April to Europe (Amsterdam, Belgium, France). I followed the instruction from the card, activated 2 days before the trip and once arrived it keeps asking payment for joining another plan.This ended up with no usage and useful the whole trip and created lots of stress on the trip.

Title: Card stopped working after 26 days, but their customer service eventually provided a replacement
Review: I bought the SIM card for Europe (Italy) and it was supposed to be for 30 days/18 GB but service was completely cut off without warning on day 26 after less than 6 GB were used. The customer service is an AI chatbot that is takes you in circles and is not very helpful and only gives you options to buy another SIM card.If you are persistent with the AI chatbot and wait a day or two, a human will eventually intervene. After wasting a lot of time trying to log in to the network provider's web site, customer service decided to provide a replacement e-sim without charge. The only problem was that the SIM card I originally purchased included unlimited phone calls and texts which is what I really needed. However, the replacement e-sim they provided did provide for data coverage.Generally, the coverage is good (5G mostly) all over central and southern Italy, even outside of the big cities. The only problem I ran into was that service stopped early and without warning. I changed my review to 4 stars after customer service provided a refund due to service cutting off earlier than advertised.

Title: Tested! Worked great in Greece.
Review: Before the trip (May 2024), I was worried whether if would work in Greece. Yes, everything went well. I traveled a lot around the country, and most of the time I had 5G internet. The signal was completely lost in the subway, and in some suburbs there was E or 4G Internet. But in general, the Internet was fast, I could send regular text messages and make phone calls. Amazing! I highly recommend it.In 10 days of constant use, the only 45% of traffic was used.No activation is required (I inserted the sim card 30 min prior the landing, and it started working like 2-3 min after I turned off the "airplane" mode). Importalnt: JUST MAKE SURE your phone is unlocked (call your provider).Customer support is also great. I contacted it several days prior my trip to make sure I did not need any activation ("NOT needed, just insert and go").Will use it in the future for sure. Thanks.

Title: Card not usable but customer service eventually responded
Review: I'm amending my earlier review based on a recent interaction with customer svc.The product description says that it provides unlimited local calling while in country, which is the only thing I needed it for. When I got to Europe and turned it on I was met with a request to purchase talk time; it listed -0- for talk and text. I needed to go to a Vodafone store and purchase a SIM card in order to be able to make a call.After initially posting this review customer svc offered a refund but I had to text them in order to use it. They seemed to not understand that their card didn't work and now that I was back in the U.S. I didn't have international calling. They recently contacted me again and this time did a refund through Amazon. While that is certainly nice I can't give this a 4 or 5 star because the product didn't work, I couldn't get in touch with customer service because I didn't have an operational phone in country, and had to go elsewhere for a SIM card. It is nice to see that customer service reached out again (although they clearly wanted me to change this review). They still need some work in this area; one representative suggested that the card didn't work because I didn't follow the directions properly. Note that the SIM card from Vodafone worked just fine. I increased my score, though, because they seem to be working on improving their service and hopefully the product.
