Title: Big Fan
Review: Bought this knife sharpener and the one aspect of it that I love the most is that it DOESN’T SLIDE AROUND. So many cheaper sharpeners slide around on the table when sharpening and it grinds my gears to say the least. This sharper does a pretty good job and lays firm on the counter when I use it. Overall, big fan of this product.

Title: It works to clean up edges on both standard and 'asian' knives ... quickly.
Review: The sharpener was not complicated so I tried it out on 7 standard edge knives .... big and small. The edges showed an improvement in just a few strokes. Next, I tried 3 asian edge knives. They too showed improvement in a few strokes. I did not try to over do the sharpening. I believe, over time the blade will continue to improve with each additional session.

Title: Between a honing rod and a motorized sharpener, but does the job
Review: You won’t get a fine knife back to a true razor’s edge, but this is perfectly adequate and convenient to maintain a decent edge between professional sharpenings. It’s easier to use and store than an oiled stone. Oh, and the scissor sharpener is genius. I have 4 pairs of scissors that are functional again that would have been tossed.

Title: In between a professional sharpening.
Review: Easy to useI'm still learning how to best sharpen my knives and scissors with this sharpener.I've not gotten my edges as sharp as a professional sharpening would but getting closer.I'd recommend for general tune up then every so many years a professional one. Depending on how often and how you use your knives of course.The scissors option is a nice addition. Takes a moment to figure out the angles and how to hold it though.
