Title: Just What The Exterminator Ordered!
Review: I use them for mice indoors and they have been great. I hv the Victors electronic ones which are great too, but:1. Even though the batteries last a while, you have to buy batteries, so extra expense.2. I don't know why but the electronic traps seem to cause the mice to decompose faster and give off a God awful smell.The Kat Sense can sometimes miss but it catches so much more than misses (I'd say 80% or better catch rate). If you put the bait firmly in the little food cup, the mice have to go deep in to dislodge the contents and that's when u have best success. So use peanut butter, cheese, cooked rice, seeds, or other sticky things that sit firmly in the cup so the suckers have to go aaaallll the way in to trigger the trap.I was shocked. Most recent catch was two mice together! I was shocked. One was caught by his tail and was still alive. The other was firmly clamped on and dead, dead.The four best things about Kat Sense traps are:1. If you are awake or not a super heavy sleeper, you hear when the trap has caught something.2. They are easy to empty and clean3. The mice seem to decompose with less smell than when u kill by other methods.4. They are safe for your hands when you are setting them.All this makes them easy peasy lemon squeezy to use.I have tried other methods of killing and this the easiest. I alternate in my space btwn these and the black sticky pads by Tom Cat. The white sticky traps are useless. I guess in the dark, mice smell them and even with poor eyesight see the white a mile away.Maybe mice (not rats) are larger in NYC...(we know well-fed NYC rats are humongous), but I use these successfully in catching adult mice. The glue traps usually take care of the young, small ones.The only con, I lose the food cup sometimes coz I flush the dead critters and the cup falls into the toidy.There is review I read where the person throws out the traps because the body fluid of the dead critter gets on it. I use gloves when removing mice bcoz they carry tons of diseases. Then I spray the entire trap down with bleach or food grade peroxide to disinfect wash off any residue and reuse. Since trap has no exposed metal parts to corrode, it works wonders. Using the gloves and washing the traps also makes sure there is no human smell on the traps. When mice smell our scent, they are less likely to enter the trap.

Title: Immediate success
Review: We noticed at times an elusive animal running in the ceiling, and could not figure out what it was. We placed several times poison cartridges to no avail, they were not touched. Today the trap arrived, I set it this evening in the area were we had noticed activity and within 10 minutes it went off. I figured I might not have set it correctly, but no, it had caught the offender; a deer mouse. So it worked, perfectly. Easy to set, easy to clean, great product.

Title: Easy, and effective for chipmunks
Review: I had just spent 31K on a rooftop garden when I noticed shallow burrows in it. Tried peppermint deterrent, but knew it didn't work when I saw a chipmunk in that garden. Got these two traps, caught the one first day, and 8 more around my house first week. Easy to dispose and can't believe how well they work with just peanut butter. Had they chewed through the waterproofing membrane. I would have lost 31K on that roof, not counting the labor of moving 3 yds of soil, and the plants, Also, found some tunnels/burrows near my foundation. Otherwise, they are cute. Strongly recommend.

Title: Gets The Job Done!!! But Quality Issues
Review: I put three out of the four traps that I purchased last night. Two of the traps worked well, very easy baiting, setting, and a real breeze to get the critter out too!!! I suspect that the one trap that did not catch anything was placed in an area of little or no traffic by the chipmunks, I will change its location. The fourth trap was sent to me defective, wanting for a response from Kat Sense customer service. In addition to being sent a defective unit, those units that worked only did so for 3 times, then broke. I have two additional units that have broken, three units unusable from what I ordered.

Title: So glad I got these!
Review: My traps arrived two days ago. I didn't set them until about 10:00 that night. I've caught three mice already. Roughly one every 12 hours. Oh, and I only deployed one. The second one enters service today!So easy to use and effective. Living in a mobile home in the country, mice are inevitable (even with 4 cats in the house), and these things are godsend. Especially since I have yet to have one go off in my hand or when placing it. They're as close to idiot proof as humanity can allow. And, they're as easy to empty as they are to set.

Review: This product is 100% the best! I am going to order 2 more. This product is an effective and humane way to trap unwanted rodents. I was shocked at the quick results...catching 2 in just 24 hours. I have tried other products with no success. It was literally easy as 1,2,3 to set the trap and includes the super easy instructions that anyone can do. The best part is disposing...No more gross looks.This is my honest review, if you are looking for a trap that works, this is it. If you have no success, perhaps change the location. That's how I caught the 2nd one, since only one caught something. Now I know where to place them for optimal success!
