Title: Quiet, lightweight, sturdy, and wicked!
Review: Very quiet. No more earplugs! This just arrived an hour and a half ago. The battery didn't come fully charged. I used one of my other 5Ah batteries. That's another thing. The ad says it comes with a 4Ah battery, but it comes with a 5Ah one. It's lightweight. The only thing that affects the weight is the size of the battery. The pole that folds is very sturdy. It only took about 5 minutes to assemble completely. The d-handle is comfortable. The shield is very good. Adequate size. For the head, it operates very well. Obviously, I haven't had to refill it yet. The string is very narrow. But very sturdy and effective. It is more wire-like than any string I have used before. I like it! Being as thin as it is, it's more knife-like when trimming. I got this electric trimmer because of my gas-powered ones, The carbs always mess up over the winter. Seems like every summer I would have to get new carbs. Not to mention the gas. One trimmer uses 50:1 mix, another uses 40:1. And still another uses straight gas. I tried to fire them up last month and none of them worked. Not that they used a lot of gas, but that is one thing I won't have to buy anymore. One word though. The shaft under the head can get clogged when trimming high grass/weeds. But that is with any trimmer. This one is easy to unclog. I think this one is better than the new 60-volt trimmer. No modifications are needed as far as I am concerned. My wife always struggled with my other trimmers, for one reason or another, but I think she is going to like this one.

Title: A Little disappointed
Review: The Good: Initial setup was easy, battery life is good, recharges quickly, worked well at cutting tough, mature alphalfa, powerful, well balanced, easy to use, not heavy, works with other DeWalt 20v batteries.The Bad: Expensive, owner's manual is text book lawyer writing and pretty much worthless.The Ugly: Like every other string trimmers I've used, this one has problems with tangles and string breaking when not feeding properly. All of my other DeWalt tools are 5 star rated. I'm giving this one 4 stars because I expected more from DeWalt. After all, it is a string trimmer and there shouldn't be any problems with the main function.

Title: Powerful Enough!
Review: It was easy to assemble! I didn't see any instruction in the box! The stone guard is pretty much useless. No matter how use it. It will throw stuff at your ankle. This weed eater uses regular 20V Dewalt battery and 20V Flex Volt battery. Dewalt weed eater string is quite strong. I didn't need to bump for fresh string often. I ran it on the low setting most of the time weed eating the yard. The folding capability was handy for storage.

Title: BAD BEARING! Look around for ALL the other BAD reviews!
Review: ~8-10 uses on my small lawn (I only trim once every 2-3 times I mow my lawn) and the main motor bearing is already broke. Of course 2 weeks past the "1 year free service contract" warranty (whatever that phrase even means...).Can't believe DeWalt hasn't recalled this model with all the bad reviews (read up on DeWalt's site, more than half of the reviews, 100+ are bad... but on Amazon it's somehow reviewed great...). TONS of posts on Reddit and elsewhere about this same exact issue...Hopefully once I call DeWalt on Monday they can help me out warranty-wise... but with the sheer number of reviews which mention their replacement unit ALSO broke very quickly (look for the reviews were several people have had 3+ of these even!)... I'm not very hopeful.

Review: This weed Wacker works great, it has two different cutting speeds and is more than capable on low speed which gives it excellent battery life. High speed is excellent for thick brush. It cuts powerfully and quickly. Very happy with this purchase!

Review: 5 amp battery lasts for my rural half acre property. I've used it for 15 to 20 minutes and had no issues. It feels heavy on the trimmer/bottom end but is a light weight when compared to gas unit. Very powerful on 'low' (battery save mode). I haven't had to use 'high', and I've cut some (relatively) pretty long grass and thistle. I do own 4 more 5 amp batteries (so I'm not concerned about running out of power) but I'd recommend this set, especially for in town properties.
