Title: This Gets The Job Done!!
Review: I purchased this item to clear out massive amounts of weed in the pond in my backyard. Assembly was a breeze, and I didn't even need the instructions to do so (although my wife made me double-check my work against them after I put the rake together...yeah, you all know who runs the house). TThe blades are extremely sharp, which is a good thing when trying to slice through pond weeds. The sharpness of the blades does mean the users need to be very careful when using the rake. For safety during storage, the rake comes with two blade covers that slide on and clip into place, which prevents accidental cutting of oneself when those covers are on. The fact that those covers clip on is important as the clips prevent the covers from sliding off.Using the rake is fairly easy. It is a little large and heavy so my 5ft 2 130lb wife struggled with it but I'm 5ft 10 and 200lbs and had no issues throwing it around. There is a rope attached, which allowed me to literally throw the rake out into the pond further than the pole would reach. The rope appears to be sturdy and I imagine it will hold up well. The pole is solid and doesn't bend which helps when cutting through weeds.Through thin patches of weeds, the rake cut right through them with ease. Throwing the rake out and pulling it back in was a fairly good workout. Using it with just the pole was a lot easier but it didnât allow me to reach out as far.The only issue I found was that when the patches of weeds were very thick, the rake wouldnât cut through them. Instead, it would shift to the right and left, which is likely due to two factors. The first is the V shape of the two blades, which on thin patches of weeds allows the rake to better through them, but on a thick patch of weeds, it will guide the rake to one side or the other. The second factor is the pole, which tends to pull the blades upwards when it finds itself on top of the weeds (this caused the blades to go over the weeds vs cutting through them)Overall, this is an awesome rake and got the job done! Cannot stress enough the sharpness of these blades and how careful one needs to be in using and handling this rake when the protective blade covers are off.

Title: Excellent Product
Review: Weed Razor Express (30") was not too small, not too big, not too heavy, not too cheaply made, and not too hard to assemble...it was JUST RIGHT! This lake grass cutter exceeded my expectations with quality of materials, ease of assembly, safety feature (razor blade covers), and effectiveness of use. Cleared 100' of lakefront grass in two days, matching neighbors on both sides who had theirs professionally cleared. The 30" cutter loaded with grass was as much as I wanted to pull in and pile up, and I think the 48" would have been too heavy for a fit 60 y/o man. The 25' lanyard was just the right length and securely tethered to handle. The blades are razor sharp out of the box and easy to sharpen with tool. I was impressed with its performance, and the pro working at our neighbor's says he has one, too. A bit pricey at $149, it will pay for itself quickly compared to growing costs of professional lake grass clearance.

Review: Works very well. I had good success removing aquatic plants. It easily goes through cattails but. The parrotfeather weeds required more work.

Title: Amazing.
Review: Really well made.Heavy but well hold up as cutting cattails and water growing plants are not as easy to cut as one might think. This tool is really nice and works well. A good buy. 5 stars.

Title: Works Beautifully on bullrush reeds
Review: I really struggled to get rid of all the bullrush reeds in my pond. This thing worked so well, it was so gratifying to see those things pop out of the water after they were cut! Cuts really deep at the bottom so hopefully they won't return for a while. Easy to throw and pull back. Highly recommend!! Hardest thing was raking them all out after they were cut. Used different tool for that.

Review: We used this for a while and it cuts out the lake weed fine, but in the long run we're not getting rid of the weeds this way. If anything, we might be spreading them. So now we use tarps on the bottom. This is far less labour intensive and is working well

Review: I ordered this product and received it within 2 days. We have a lot of weeds at the end of our dock and wanted to clear the area for better swimming. The weed razor is actually a lot of fun to use and it works amazingly. I cleared a large area of weeds which made it a lot nicer for swimming. The weeds do grow back eventually. I would suggest clearing the weeds when the wind is blowing out and away from the dock so that you don't have to rake them all in and then dispose of them.

Review: After struggling for years to keep a large pond in the pond clear of common pond weed I found this amazing device. Does an excellent job. It is quite heavy to throw but not impossible. Does need a strong tug to operate the cutting action but again this is doable. Razor sharp so take care. Well worth the cost.
