RoundUp ProMax penetrates weed leaf surfaces faster, giving you confidence. New RoundUp ProMax is an herbicide that penetrates the leaves and moves to the roots of weeds faster so that in can provide weed control, with virtually no regrowth. When you spray RoundUp on a weed, it is absorbed by the plant, where it then prevents the plant from making its own food and gathering nutrients to sustain itself. RoundUp is then transported throughout the weed to kill the entire weed, roots and all! Therefore, dead weeds can't regrow. Once in the soil, RoundUp breaks down over time into natural materials and will not move in the ground to affect nearby, untreated plants. It is a post-emergent, systemic product with no soil residual activity. RoundUp Pro concentrate gives a broad spectrum control of many annual weeds, perennial weeds, woody brush and trees. Formulated as a water-soluble liquid containing 50% glyphosate and 14.5% surfactant. No additional surfactant is needed or recommended. Product may be used in general non-crop areas.
Protect gardens, lawns and landscaping with quality herbicides
Roundup Pro is ideal for trim and edge applications, turf renovation, weeding shrub beds and removing brush and vines.
Complete post-emergence herbicide for broadleaf weeds
Provides quick control with virtually no regrowth

Title: Weed-B-Gone is a suggestion- Roundup is an order
Review: This old Stanby works great and does the job. It isn't fast but if you give four or five days your weeds will be dead.

Title: Really Works on Deep South Food Plots!
Review: Used this product for the first time in south Mississippi, this year spraying the food plots before mowing and plowing under...WOW...killed pretty much everything except blackberry and other woody-stemmed weeds. Planting rye, wheat, chicory and clover in two days, before a rain, with no sign of weeds coming back, after tilling three weeks ago. Will come back and update after the plots come in...it's supposed to rain right after we plant, for three days, so should have good germination and plots greening up in a couple of weeks! For those interested, I started off on one trial plot using one ounce per gallon, then used one and a half ounces on a second trial plot. I recommend going with one and a half...killed more completely, faster at that rate, and still pretty economical for food plots. One ounce still did fine but took a bit longer and some of the stemmier stuff needed a repeat spot spray that I didn't have to do on the other plot. This stuff is fairly expensive, but worth it if you have been fighting weeds and want to start feeding deer year round instead of just planting for the fall/winter season...Updated 7/5/16:I have gone through one entire food plot season now, from initial spraying, to tilling, to planting, mowing, etc., and I am WELL PLEASED with the results. The food plots I sprayed before planting had excellent germination of clover, chicory, rye and winter wheat, and those plots had very little regeneration of unwanted grasses and weeds compared to unsprayed plots. After the wheat and ryegrass died off we mowed the plots and the clover and chicory are doing well with minimal grass and weed growth. The other plots I did not spray were mowed at the same time, and have been overtaken by weeds and grass. Now that spraying has proven itself maybe I can get the cheapskates in the club to chip in on the expense of maintaining the plots correctly! 🙂

Title: Be patient, trust the dilution, this stuff is magical.
Review: Having used the Roundup concentrates for grass/weed AND Poison Ivy/Brush versions, I can say that all three work, but this is the Cadillac at the Bargain Basement price.First off, the label has a detailed use booklet attached... not like the one page foldouts on other formulas... a full booklet. You won't find the simple oz/gallon ratio because it tells you how much to mix per plant. The good news is while the other RoundUp concentrates take about 6 oz/gallon... this stuff weighs in at about 2 oz/gallon. This brings it to 1.5%, which is the high end of recommended range for most plants in the booklet. I mixed 3 oz/gallon just to be safe and this stuff is unbelievable. At 2 oz/gallon that is enough to treat over 400,000 square feet.Unlike the other formulas, results take a bit longer, but also unlike the other versions, this stuff is truly fatal. I mean to Kudzu, Ivy, Virginia Creeper, grass, or anything else.Tired of weedeating next to a sidewalk? Spray a 4 inch swath of it. It takes longer... usually about 7-10 days, but wow. Whatever it gets on is DEAD. I have sprayed some Kudzu and Ivy in my back yard with poor results... until now.You don't need to overdo it. Just spray it once, get the leaves wet, and move on. It will kill every plant that gets approximately 50% of it's leafy areas wet... even if it doesn't kill the plant outright, those leaves WILL die... so you can wait two weeks and take another pass.In about 2 months I've taken my back yard full of Kudzu, Ivy, and Poison Sumac and small brush and turned it almost into desert... by spray maybe 3-5 gallons every other week. I was spending hours every Saturday and Sunday making minimal progress with a weedeater, sling blade, and machete, and this stuff really just annihilated everything. It's wonderful. I can truly see what the ground looks like now and will be able to set up to put grass in this year.If you need to clear some serious weeds or vines or brush out, this is the ticket. The booklet even tells you how to kill larger trees and stuff with it. It's truly amazingly powerful.
