Title: 5-stars for sharp!! Not strong enough for South Alabama Weeds!!!!
Review: 5-stars for sharp!!! Only pulled it through the weeds about 5 times and the flat bars bent into a W! Going to replace the aluminum flat bars with Stainless and see if that holds up better Will give additional feedback after I swap them out.. The company was very responsive in reaching out to find out what the issue was and make it right. Will definitely do business with them again.

Title: Invaluable at work
Review: I run the biogenic field laboratory for a University. We clean lakes and ponds of blue green algae with natural cures. We can clean a pond three times faster when we take the time to cut as much of the weeds and algae out as we can before we treat it. This rake is essential equipment. Sometimes we have to hook a winch onto a cable to drag it across. So, that sentence should give you an idea of how durable it is.

Title: Sharp
Review: The blades are extremely sharp. The design makes it strong to pull through thick weeds and the rope is secured through the pole instead of a handle like others making it solid. Assembly is easy and everything stays together well once tightened up. The blades can be adjusted for a wide path or small path perfect for getting in tighter spaces around a dock. While this is ment to cut weeds it does drop to the bottom and tend to pull muck up as well making it a chore to keep it clean to cut. It is priced well for the quality but there are definitely better ones on the market. For average cutting and simple weed control this cutter does work but depending on how much your trying to control you may want to look for an angled head and alittle heavier duty style one. Overall for the price and adjustable widths this cutter does work and comes in handy to keep a nice dock area.

Title: Didnât work for me
Review: It doesnât cut even after I sharpened the blades. It wraps around the blade then you rip it out instead of cutting. Itâs hard to pull with the slippery thin rope. I lost bolts pretty sure from ripping the weeds out. I give 3stars for the quick response to my problem.

Title: Wicked sharp, rusty screws
Review: I own another brand of pond weed cutter which cost a little bit more than this one, and I have to admit I prefer the pricier option. Here is why:-This rake was a pain to put together. Because the blades are so sharp, you really have to be careful handling them. The little rubber strips that come on them are somewhat flimsy and don't stay on the blade without the little velcro holders.-Once together, you can't "close" it without removing the blades. The other one I have allows you to "fold" the blades in for storage, which is a great safety element for transport.-The cutter got in the rain once before I got around to putting it together, and the screws that come with it are already rusting. Not sure how long they will last since they are intended to be wet.-The other cutter I have came with a handy bag which has been great for transporting and storage. This one did not. It did come with a little sharpening tool but I haven't had to use it yet.As far as how it works, it works fine. It is a bit smaller than the other one I have, which makes it lighter and easier to throw out. The blades are wicked sharp and work well on my invasive water shield. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do, but because of the rusty screws and the inability to safely close it, I had to ding a star.
