Title: Does not last.
Review: Update: Have to say customer service was unbelievable. I didn’t even ask but they reached out offered me a full refund and even asked if they could send me a replacement tool for our troubles. It’s nice to see a company that stands behind their product and will do anything to make the customer happy. To me that’s a win in my mind and the proper way to treat a customer. Thank you.My wife used the tool for 3 weeks before it snapped at the end. I bought this item because of the wood handle and cast iron end. It’s a shame it didn’t last longer as the tool worked great while it was in one piece.

Title: Time saver but handle cracked
Review: We had a big weed problem this year so I bought this tool to save some time and my knees. It worked wonders and made all the neighbors jealous at the speed we could clear our yard of thistles. However after a few uses part of the wooden handle started to crack so we had to wrap it in tape to prevent from breaking.

Title: Design flaw leaving weak points.
Review: Handle is separated into 3 pieces. I'm assuming that's to reduce packing and shipping cost. This leads to week points in the handle that can end up with striped threads and a broken handle. The week point for me is the handle to the head connection. There is not much wood left undamaged by the rivits leading to the failure mine had where the wood brakes and the head comes off. If you were looking to get this one and replace the handle and maybe redo the way the rivits are done then I believe it is worth the money because the head itself is very heavy duty and would last many years. I believe the wood would rot from age before the head ever showed any signs of damage. The head if not left in the yard and forgot about should last 20 years easy. But if your looking for one with no modifications needed I'd go with the other more expensive one. I haven't tried it out yet and it may have the same problem but worth a shot. As far as the design of the head for getting weeds out of the ground it is perfect in my opinion. I was able to get a few weeds out before it broke and it was very easy fast and got every bit of root out.

Title: Works well
Review: This device works well on crabgrass. That's what I got it for, and it pulls the weed and its roots easily, with a satisfying ripping sound. Large weeds sometimes need two bites. If the soil is loose, you can use the puller without stepping on the lever; just thrust the tool in and push the handle over to yank out the weed. When you do need to step on the lever, you usually also have to manually clear the pulled weed from the jaws.The tool is well-made and sturdy. The joints in the handle thread together solidly, with no wobbling. After two days of use, they are still tight. Metal sleeves reinforce the joints. The working end of the tool is two solid castings joined by a heavy rivet, with an enamel finish. The only feature I would add would be a cushioned grip on the end of the handle. Maybe a piece of large-diameter pool noodle would fit.

Title: This sat in my cart forever and I regret not buying it sooner
Review: I am terrible at maintaining my yard and the thing I hate the most is weeding. I got this today and when I got home from work I was out there with my phones flashlight looking for weeds to pull. This thing is genuinely the biggest time saver. I actually enjoyed using this to pull the weeds. Saved my back and my hands!! Don’t question this… you need it. Order it.

Title: Update replaced by seller - Broke after just a few uses
Review: UPDATE- after contacting seller regarding broken tool they ship a replacement. There are still some weak points in construction, but I will be more careful going forward.design is good and worked well, but the materials were way to weak. One tine of the grabber bent the first day as I used it on a bigger, more stubborn root. Then a few uses later the shaft broke off at the junction point near the head. The bolt nearest the handle is too close to the end of the metal, and the wood grain of the handle was drilled in the weakest direction of the grain, so any levering put too much stress on that point. I'm really disappointed as I only used it on three occasions and liked the way it worked, but the quality was abysmal. I can't return it because it's past the 30 day timeline.

Title: The tool is great. I wish the wooden pole was more sturdy.
Review: The tool itself is amazing. The metal is very sturdy and the tool seems to function well. However, they would just short of the metal of tool broke. The wood is jammed down inside the metal part quite sturdily and I think it will be difficult to remove it and replace.
