Title: Tasty and a good deal
Review: I make presoaked and lightly fermented GABA brown rice in the rice cooker with this, works well.The raw rice smelled perfectly fine, nothing musty or funky. Did not store for more than 1-2 months, brown rice has a much lower shelf life than white.

Title: Cooks quickly, good texture
Review: A lot of brown rice brands are tough to cook and the texture is off, even after soaking the rice before cooking. But this brand requires minimal soaking ( a couple of hours) and after cooking the texture is much better than what I have had before.

Title: Nice everyday rice
Review: I was pleasantly surprised to find this rice here on Amazon, so I ordered 4 bags. When it arrived, I was shocked to discover that two of the bags had split open, and the rice had spilled all over. So right away I had lost about 3/4 of a bag of rice. Not happy. I'm sure this was caused by the rice bags being shipped inside a very large box WITHOUT ANY PACKING MATERIALS. A few air-packs or crumpled paper or styrofoam peanuts would have prevented the bags from banging around inside the box. Shame on whoever packed this. From reading earlier reviews. it seems that this happens often, so be prepared to maybe receive one or more bags that have split open spilling rice everywhere. I"m still trying to get a partial refund - no luck so far.The rice itself is good. It cooks evenly, firm and fluffy, and It complements any meal. And it's nice that it's organic. I wish there were more organic rice brands at a reasonable price to choose from .

Title: Organic Manhatma Rice yay!
Review: I bought to restock my pantry after my remodel. My family has used this brand for decades, my mother used this product as well. I was thrilled that my favorite brands are going organic and being cognizant of the unfortunate need to provide healthy versions due to the poor management of FDA allowing so many poisonous ingredients in our food chain, a real travesty how the American people have been let down for the almighty dollar. This doesn’t happen in other countries. I like the convenient 1-pound portions to ensure freshness. I will be doing a test and update review after I ensure that Manhatma rice is just rice and not using any harmful plastic fillers or preservatives. Thank you to this tried and true brand from my childhood to my family dinner table today in 2024!
