Title: Works great on cold plunge
Review: This filter housing works very well for use with my cold plunge using 50 micro pleated filters. I wish it were a tad less restrictive for aquarium pump use (read low head pressure capable pump) but that is not a true designed use case for this filter, so I let it pass on that.The only real negative I can think of is the o-ring is not captured in any way, so be careful when replacing the filter that you don't drop the o-ring into the dirt or pinch it when tightening the housing.

Review: The filter system is moderately priced and has some cool tech. The water filtration using their most advanced filter was very good and I didnât notice any reduction in water pressure. I think it is nice that they do offer two other lower level filters so you can set your budget for replacement costs.The app has some useful information, but it crashes allot on my iPhone. Maybe they will fix that in later versions. It is yet to be determined if this tech is worth the extra money, but it is great to know how much water you are using and get an alert when the filter needs replacement.Installation would be easy if your plumbing matched the default setup. They use Sharkbite connectors. In my case I needed to do some planning and spend another $100 in extra parts to get it in. For most I would recommend professional installation.The built in shutoff makes it easy to change filters with minimal mess.Be sure you plan a power outlet close by and good internet signal. If you donât have these two items you should probably choose a different model.

Review: Install went well had to snug up the outlet fitting as it weeped a bit. Use a good amount of Teflon tape and you probabe won't have an issue.Unit came with a 50 micron filter, which I changed after 10 days. I wanted a 5 micron filter in place, there was clear evidence on the filter that I changed out, that it was working. The bypass function worked fine and the swap was a breeze. The 5 micron fliter is a different type, so I am monitoring it's performance. Used another brand of filter and seems to be working as expected. We have a shallow well with UV light sterilizer.
