Title: Great value, Easy Setup, Solid Performance
Review: For those who are unable or not ready to upgrade to Orbi, this may be the next best option. I needed a quick, yet solid and somewhat modern solution to pair well with a Nighthawk CM2050V Xfinity modem with voice services. This solution provided me the Wifi 6 platform that I wanted for modern Wifi devices in our home ecosystem and the flexibility to segment our IoT and computer devices from Guest Access. So far, I am pleased with the performance and consistency that we needed. This serves as the interim solution until symetrical fiber is deployed to our community in the forthcoming year. The coverage and connect speeds are good in any room of our 2,000 square foot home. The router and satellite are small and were easily hidden out of view while maintaining a good signal throughout the single-story building. I don't see a need for an addition satellite at this time, as signal strength is excellent.

Title: Incredibly easy set up and great performance!
Review: My ancient Netgear extender was giving up the ghost, and my Netgear router was around the same vintage. Saw this mesh system for 50% off with solid reviews. For set up, you download the app and it walks you right through it... basically does all the work for you with no mumbo-jumbo Honestly, up and running in about 10 minutes. I have a big L-shaped house and my router is unfortunately on the long end of the L. The two satellites that come with his mesh system have excellent connection and no signal loss. Great not to have slower internet in the family room and office anymore. VERY happy with his purchase!

Title: Donât run, good wifi 6 system!
Review: I bought this to take advantage of my full internet connection speed. Iâm getting 460Mbps next to the router which Iâm pretty damn happy with. I read the reviews after I ordered and figured I was just gonna send it right back since so many people struggled. However, my setup was easy (although kind of long) and the speeds are great. Also, Iâm getting great coverage in my 3,300 sq ft 2 story block home out of just 2 nodes. I donât know what everyone is complaining about. These things are great! If you want to know more, read on.I pay for and get 500/500 fiber internet when tethered at the modem. With my Linksys Velop wifi 5 mesh system (3 nodes) I was getting max 200Mbps standing next to the wireless router. I was also experiencing dead spots around the house. Stubborn ones where even when a node reading 200Mbps was in the next room I still had issues. Bottom line is I canât manage two fantasy football teams and give my wife advice on her team while Iâm on the can when my bathroom is a wifi dead spot! So this system came up âused - good conditionâ for a fair price and I decided to give it a go. I mean, I donât care if my wifi routers have cosmetic damage greater than 1 inch.Setup was a little slow, but easy. Biggest problem was that I didnât realize thereâs a difference between router and satellite. Hook the one with 2 Ethernet ports to your modem. The single Ethernet port is the satellite. Updates took awhile but all good. Tested around the house, now Iâm getting 460 down standing next to the router, totally acceptable to me. Btw, thatâs on an iPhone 11 Pro which has a wifi 6 card. Make sure you test with something that is wifi 6 enabled. System only has two nose and Iâm getting at worst to 170 Mbps in the farthest corners of my house. So this is a great buy. I think other users are just not doing it right. I donât know, but donât runaway from a good system at a good price. I highly recommend buying used on a product like this.

Title: I Had to Pay to Return a Faulty Device
Review: Summary:1. If your gear stops working you have to pay to ship back gear that is faulty even though it isn't your fault2. They replace faulty gear with refurbished gear, not new gear. How long will it work this time?3. They don't send you a power cord and expect you to buy a new one, despite already spending money on shipping the faulty device in the first place. How am I to test this gear that was sent to me without power?4. They will have you spend hours "troubleshooting" the faulty device and have you repeat things until you tell them enough is enough.5. Warranty is only 90 days on this product, and after 90 days you have to pay a subscription in order to talk to technical support.6. Don't do it, it's not worth the hassle. The details about my experience:I purchased the Nighthawk system that came with 2 satellites per a recommendation from a friend who works in the networking industry. The system worked so well that I decided to add on another satellite for a blind spot that I had on my Ring system. The satellite worked for 2 months then all of a sudden got stuck in a loop cycle trying to connect. I went on to Reddit to try to figure out what I could do. I spent 2 hours following different suggestions then gave up and called Netgear customer service the next day. I humored the representative because I know they have a script to follow but he had me do everything I already tried. After 2 hours with him I had to put my foot down and said that I wasn't going to waste any more time on a clearly faulty unit. He got me set up to do an exchange. Tell me why I had to pay my own money to return a product that stopped working that was still under warranty? I shrugged that idea off and mailed it off anyway. When I got my replacement it was not a new one but a refurbished one, most companies will replace a nonfunctioning product with a new one, but again as long as it works, whatever. They sent me no power cord. I called back customer service and they said there was nothing they could do and told me I had to buy a power cord because I accidentally sent my power cord to them. He said there was no way to track where my power cord was because he didn't know where it was sent. I had the address and he still refused to help me. Netgear wants you to pay for their mistakes on faulty gear and refuses to make things right. Invest into a better system and a better company. Also I found out that after 90 days from your purchase you have to pay for technical support and you cannot replace any non functioning gear. Not even a year warranty!

Review: When the mesh is working it's fine. But when the system goes down it's very time consuming to reset and then the satellite unit doesn't always want to be found. Hence I would not rush out an buy this unit again. And of course there is no hard copy instructions as is the case with so many electronics these days you have to go to manufactures website and sift through/try to find troubleshooting/issues. Finally went back to my ole trusty Airport.

Review: This device works well and turned out to be the perfect solution for weak signal spots in my condo. However, the state of the packaging combined with the fact that the device serial number had already been resistered with netgear, indicates this seller is deceitful and possibly fraudulent. When you advertise and charge for a brand new product, that is exactly what your customers should receive. Beware when buying from toyripple.
