Title: So farâ¦.so good.
Review: My new Neighbors decided replace a lamp post topper and remove the 25 watt soft light bulb that was in a frosted glass topper, which my former neighbor was kind enough to use. The new owner installed a clear glass topper with a 100 watt bulb in his front yard lamp post. Unfortunately, my living room patio doors face his light post (30 feet away) which comes on at dusk, off at dawn. It now lights up 3 neighborhood lots. Itâs impossible to sit in my living room watching TV, without staring at this spot light. So, I saw this window film and gave it a try. I bought a smaller size window application first, to see how it would work. Itâs FANTASTIC. Drastically reduced the glare, so I came back and bought the size that would fit my 2 patio doors. The smaller window size was a breeze to install. USE A LOT OF WATER. THE MORE, THE BETTER. I Used my car window washing squeegee⦠sponge to smooth out, stiff rubber to remove excess water from edges. The patio doors was a little more challenging because of the pieces overall size. Used my water spray bottle and drenched my door glass then started smoothing at the top then down and side to side a little at a time. Each panel was 29.5â wide cut to 58.5â long. . The smaller window film I tried out first, I easily peeled off and put it on my bedroom Windowsâ¦to defuse his 2 garage door sidelights that they keep illuminated 24/7 and now shines into my bedroom. My former neighbor never used his garage door sidelights. After 25 years, my luck with neighbors ran out.If you want something pretty easy to install, looks good and does the jobâ¦this is quality stuff.

Title: EFFECTIVELY REDUCED ROOM TEMPERATURE BY 15º
Review: Does this stuff work? Absolutely it does!! My son's bedroom faces directly east and gets full sun from sunrise until about 2:00 PM. We do not have any large trees to provide shade, so his room was always much hotter during the summer than the rest of the house. I installed this window film and we could immediately see a difference in temperature the following day. It does not hinder the view looking outside, but if you're outside, looking in, it's completely reflective during the day time. The installation was super easy too. I recommend using a razor blade and some Windex to clean the glass first, then make sure it's completely dry. Get a spray bottle of soapy water and one of those little shower squeegees when you go to put the film on the glass. If you've never done this before, watch a video on youtube on how to install car window tint, it's basically the same thing. First you'll want to cut the film so that it's about 1.5 inches larger than your glass in both directions. Then spray lots of soapy water in the glass. Next, you peel the backing off of the film and "float" it into position, using the squeegee to smooth out the air-bubbles. The film will actually start to cling automatically. Again, just watch a video on youtube.Definitely worth the money paid.

Title: Window tint for your home
Review: It blocks out the sun! You can see outside but people can't see inside. If you're a tenant this product is great for privacy and it's easy to remove. Great product! I highly recommend it.I have edited this comment due to the fact that once it's dark outside you can see inside... It's still NOT a deal breaker for me because it really does stop the sun from blasting your home with heat and the privacy you have during the day. I still highly recommend this product.

Title: Not dark enough
Review: I purchased this item to help block out some sun in the early mornings by my desk, the angle of the sun hits the top of my window and makes seeing the compute very difficult for about an hour. I received the product, it was very thick and I hoped that meant good quality. I cut a piece to size, removed the protective film and placed it on the window. Two things, first the thickness that I hoped indicated quality made the product too heavy to stick easily. Window preparation is key here. Window needs to be perfectly clean for this to stick. If that was the only issue, I would give this a 4 or 5 star, but the product does not decrease the light through the window very much. I ended up using 2 layers of the product, this does not look great, but if it is functional I am happy leaving this as a 3 star review.

Title: Works to reduce sunlight & heat!
Review: This window film REALLY works! I installed the film on my front door side windows and a 32" x 72" screen door window. The front of my home faces the West and we had to cut down (4) Ash trees that have provided shade for forty years. Once the shade was gone, the sunlight and heat became so extreme that the wood was warping, the stain was fading, and the finish was peeling! The film works like the tinted windows in your car, to reduce sunlight and heat. I admit that the installation process is not easy on a larger window BUT I got the job done and I am very happy with the results! I'm hoping this "fix" will help to reduce my electricity bill as well!!

Title: Only downside is user error
Review: Really if i had had more common sense or maybe been smarter at the time i ordered i would've measured my window to know about how much to get, but i didn't and thus didn't have enough material and also didn't read how to apply so i ruined some of it. After i measured i knew how much i needed and after reading the INCLUDED instructions i knew how to apply it, super easy to apply and its EXACTLY as advertised, from the outside i cannot see in and now i can open my blinds, let some light in without my neighbors being nosy and as an added bonus, since my window face the sun most of the day, my room is no longer as much of an oven as it was. When i finish covering the window i bet it'll be even better.

Review: Le film a tenu 4 heures et à commencé à se dérouler et à tomber.Bref, ce nâest pas particulièrement aidant lors de canicule. Il nây avait pourtant pas de bulles dâair entre la fenêtre et le filmâ¦
