Review: This wine cooler has good capacity for 2 or 3 people. Controls are easy to access. Does not take up a lot of room, though it might be too high to put on a kitchen counter. Once the temperature is set, it remains constant.

Title: Bought in April -- problem in September fixed with plugging and unplugging
Review: I live in Florida where my house in summer is a toasty 79 degrees. Wine isn't happy that hot and suffers heat damage. The criticism of the wine cellar is that it doesn't chill wine down enough. Set it at 55 but it doesn't necessarily achieve that temperature. But it's not a fridge. Knowing this going in, I am pleased to find that the temperature is currently 60 degrees and has never gotten above 65. Totally acceptable for me. I've got my wine happy, and I'm happy.UPDATE: It's now September and my wine is 80 degrees. The cooler stopped working. Light was on but no cool air was coming forth. HOWEVER, I unplugged it. Let it sit and it's back functioning. Don't know why it stopped working but if anyone else has this issue, this might help.

Title: Looks good
Review: What you see in the pictures of this unit, would have you believe it is 1 Unit. What it really is are 2 separate units which if purchased separately would cost $400.00. I think the extra $100.00 is a bit much for having a door mounted on the left side of one unit along with a receptacle in the back of the unit to accept a power plug so you only have 1 plug to plug into the wall. Other than that it looks great and accepted all of the wine bottles with no problem including a bottle of Riesling with an extended neck.

Title: using for potatoes
Review: Using for potatoes instead of wine. Easy to use. Only a tiny amount of sprouting after a month. Perfect for this use. Just beware--very heavy!
