Title: Great gloves but the waist is too small to get them on
Review: These gloves were fantastic. They seem put together extremely well. Maybe too well. They were indeed waterproof and windproof and my hands fit great and felt great inside. The problem however is that the waist is extremely tough. I have fairly big hands, no huge but pretty big. This might help you. My hand measures with my thumb inward my thumb joint to the other side of my hand about 5 and 1/3 inches across. I don't know how much smaller your hands should be, Id say more like 4 and 1/3 inches from the same measuring point. I got the XX-Large. If your hands are close to that size try to find these gloves somewhere else at a larger size if available otherwise don't get these. It's possible to get them on, actually putting on one hand is not that bad but still difficult because you have your other hand to help you. Once the glove is on it feels great no tightness at all. However now the hand with the glove on it just doesn't hand the dexterity to help you get the other one on. You can pull on one of the extremely tough tightening straps and can sometimes get it on but it is a fitful process. I had worn them a few times, I liked them so much I wanted to keep them but it was just so much work getting them on. My only options at this point seemed to either damage the gloves, break the internal waist maybe on the sides or give them to someone else. So I just paid them forward. I repeat the gloves are great but be aware of your hand size.

Title: GREAT Gloves! Will keep you warm and dry!
Review: I bought these gloves in August for riding my motorcycle in the winter. It is VERY hard to find gloves that will keep you warm on a bike, other than heated electric gloves. I saw that these had good reviews and were priced under ten dollars. I figured they were worth a try. When they arrived, I was pretty surprised and a little disappointed at how bulky they were. I was afraid they would not let me operate the controls and switches on the handlebars. Well, I have finally pulled the gloves out of storage, and used them to ride to work with temps in the 30's. With a 60mph wind chill, they did keep me warm and comfortable! And, I am still able to work the turn signals, horn and brakes just fine. I have also worn them in heavy fog & light rain while riding, and they performed great. They kept me warm and dry! And they look great too! The materials and color match my Tourmaster riding jacket perfectly. If you need them for chopping wood, shoveling snow or building igloos, I think they would keep you plenty warm. I don't know how durable they are or how well they would hold up to heavy jobs, but for $10, you can always afford to buy another pair if they wear out. These are the best (and the cheapest) non electric winter riding gloves I've ever owned!

Title: Comfortable and warm
Review: Right off the bat let me say that I did not buy these gloves to work in. I bought them because I wanted to keep my hands warm. That being said, I will not be giving my review on their durability. They are very nice gloves. They are well made and the lining is very comfortable. I could probably have gotten away with ordering an XL but I always purchase XXL so that my hands have room to breath and if by chance I to boost the insulation with an insert I can do so without the loss of comfort. I don't plan on counting pocket change with these on, so count on you dexterity being greatly compromised. Grabbing large objects... no problem. Picking up a dime off of a linoleum floor; an exercise in futility. They are warm though. There is a big winter storm coming through tomorrow so I will be able to put them through the paces as far the wind and wetness is concerned. They nicely paded with a lot of insulation. They are very comfortable. I don't know how you would like your gloves to fit but I like a size up from my normal size. I don't like my hands squeezed into a pair of gloves because I believe that the same premise of loose fitting clothes provide better insulation against cold weather, also applies to my gloves. I will follow up as soon as I gather more info but for now I would say construction-wise, comfort and functionality makes these gloves a very safe purchase.

Title: Sizing is incorrectly marked
Review: The winter gloves are marked as "XXL". They are not extra extra large, however. They are actually "Large" and they won't fit a very large hand. Otherwise, they are very nicely made.

Review: Well-made, tight fitting XL size for my palm circumference of 8.5 inches. A size smaller would have been too small.
