Title: Longtime User of Basic Sony Ear Buds
Review: I have bought 4 of these pretty basic Sony ear buds over the last decade or so (and one of the white variety, just to spice things up a little). For the price, they are fair/good quality and provide clear audio whether plugged into my laptop or my phone. I have seen other reviews saying they came broken or loose, that they didn't last very long, and general concerns about their poor quality. But I bought two of these recently to replace another that was worn down and not working properly (which I used for over 5 years with no issues) and checked both out thoroughly after removing them from their packaging. They were sturdy and worked perfectly. With these ear buds, you get what you pay for - a basic set of ear buds comparable to Amazon Basics ones that will last if you don't step on them or yank them around. And if they don't last long, they're quite inexpensive on sale and so it's not going to set you back too much.

Title: Best sound quality at low price!
Review: This particular ear buds has an amazing sound quality, and its at a low price! It is great for walking, jogging, running, and working out at the gym. I use it very often, almost every day! It has lasted me about a good 2 years, and I would be happy to order another set for that price! The reason why it lasted me about 2 years was because I just had an accident with breaking mines. Take good care of your ear buds, and it will last even longer. It fits my ear holes well and is comfortable wearing them. It has good outside-noise cancellation, so it can be just you and your music when taking those morning or evening jogs around public places (or using in noisy places like the malls, airports, busy streets, etc.). I turn up the volume very loud as well (but not to the fullest volume level), especially when I am vigorously exercising at the gym, and I don't notice its sound quality degrading. There has been no annoying static sound like some other earbuds have when turning up the volume. It has very good bass through these small earbuds. That's probably why I mainly like this product, for its strong bass. I listen to lots of songs with electric guitars, like rock and heavy metal music. I also listen to hip-hop songs that play heavy bass in the backgrounds. These earbuds are also good for techno music with strong beats. They are also good on ASMR videos on Youtube (I personally watch Cherry Crush and Russian ASMR Kitty Klaw). Try these earbuds out on ASMR and they will impress you! When you first use these earbuds, try all of the sound preset equalizer settings on your music devices to see which one is good for you (I personally like the ROCK and the R&B setting on my iPod, it sounds very good for me). One problem I've had with it was listening to music through my android phone, it doesn't sound too very good. However, it maybe just might be the android phone that I have, since some mobile phones aren't meant to play music with good sound quality. That's where my iPod comes in. iPods are built to enhance sound quality with its preset equalizer settings and allow you to enjoy your music experience. I have been using this earbuds since 2007 and I am still a proud customer. I've ordered some more at different colors for my family and friends, and they all love it as well! This product definitely deserves a 5 star rating for its amazing sound performance.

Title: They're fine for listening to books or watching TV
Review: I bought these and the similar FAAEAL Iris Ancestor in-Ear Earphones. These work fine, but they have a kind of tinny sound. I like the FAAEAL's better because they have a fuller sound with more bass and look sturdier.

Title: My go to for years
Review: I guess I have small ear holes? But these are the most comfortable ear buds I have found. I cannot wear the teardrop shape buds or the ones with foam ear inserts hanging off. These sounds good consistently. They are not noise cancelling but I am not concerned with that. For a while they were hard to find - were called "fashion earbuds" from sony, and guess they were discontinued, but looks as though they were brought back. For some reason I have found the ones that have a color piece attached that says "Sony" are better than the ones that do not have this translucent colored piece on them.

Title: NOT for music..... Excellent for everything else!
Review: I use these for casual YouTubing and connecting to my metal detector, and they are VERY impressive for those uses at such a low cost. I have high end headphones for music and these absolutely suck at that. I highly recommend these for everything BUT music.

Title: Good budget buds where HiFi not important.
Review: Sound is as good as you would expect from corded buds at this price point. I bought 2 pair. One for an older mp3 player & one for a Roku control for when I want higher volume when my wife is sleeping. I have a passle of earphones, including corded & Bluetooth Bose noise bankers & even I $2,000 studio reference over-the-ear headphone for Serious listening to lossless or vinyl. But, these are comfortable & more than adequate for what I need them. BTW, hard to tell Left from Right even though the buds are not perfectly round tiny letter at bottom of stalk almost impossible to see except in good light), but I tie a tiny knot in the cord right under the Right bud so I can easily get them right in the dark.

Review: These are great little classic style earbuds from Sony. Yet to get the most from them out of the box they need a good 24hrs of Pink noise at roughly 80% volume via some sort of typical music player. An iPad for instance, yet really, anything will do so long as its providing a constant Pink noise audio stream.Otherwise, out of the package, they do sound a little weak and lackluster as many reviews here mention. But give them a good work out with some Pink noise, and they're so much better. A lovely pair of classic earbuds by Sony.
