We Love Games!
Great Games for Everyone
How did we get our start?
It began as a childhood passion. We loved playing games ALL the time. We made our own games to play with siblings and friends. We didn't really want to grow up and give up making games, so we formed this company over 20 years ago.
What makes our products unique?
Our high-quality products are designed to be fun, challenging and socially interactive. These key features underpin everything we make.
Why do we love what we do?
We know how important it is to gather around for some precious time together. We're happy to be a part of that.
What is our focus?
Quality, not quantity. We aim to make the best games, not the most. The best trivia games, kids games, family games. We're very selective about what we attach our name to.
Why are our products so popular?
We have a golden rule: we only make games that we'd love to play over and over ourselves and we are glad others want to too! Did you know our games have won several awards?
Anything else?
We do not make anything that requires a computer and internet connection. We're all about people gathering around a table to interact and play. No Batteries Required!
Will you get the answers in time, or is that just WISHFUL THINKING? Let's see how quickly you make the connections in this fun and challenging board game. You only have 60 seconds to figure out three 'Mystery' words on the card. The only thing they have in common is that they all begin with the same letter. You (and your teammates) are allowed as many guesses as you like, so shout out anything that comes to mind.
Let's try it: the Presenter says "Think of words that start with a J" and then gives the hint word: ‘VOYAGE’. What can you think of beginning with a 'J' to describe the word 'VOYAGE'? If you answered ....JOURNEY.... you got it right.
On to the next word that starts with J. The hint word is ‘SHOCK’. If you are stumped, say ‘Help’ and you'll get the second letter hint - an 'O'. So it starts with 'JO'. You only have a few seconds left before the timer runs out. If you guessed ...... JOLT....... you got it right again. But since you asked for 'Help' you move fewer spaces.
The more Mystery Words you solve during the round, the more spaces you move on the board. There’s a twist: Opponents bet which Mystery Word you’re least likely to guess - so think hard and make them regret it!
WISHFUL THINKING Board Game is a classic parlor game that everyone can play at Family Game and Party Night. For 2 to 6 players/teams. Ages 15 to Adult.
Click the Wishful Thinking video to play a round of the game! Think quickly: can you guess the Mystery Words before time runs out?

Title: I Really Like This Game
Review: This oozes fun. I had a wonderful evening playing this with my husband and some colleagues from work, all of whom are pretty into these types of games (a mixture of word/party/trivia/social/etc). There were five of us, playing as two teams (me and two others versus my husband and my sister-in-law). Here's the basic lowdown. It is intriguing trying to work out what the answers on the cards may be, all three I mean. Knowing the first letter is useful, without a doubt, but what really matters is how well your make the association with the hint that is provided. If you click right away with the first one, it gives you more time to ponder the second and third ones. And it's always exciting because you're always staring at the timer. And challenging for sure, but I like how you can ask for help if you need it (which both teams did a lot), even if it leads to fewer points (still better than zero points). Three answers to find in one minute is harder than it sounds. Be happy if you guess two. But when you get a good feel for it, cut the time in half and watch how more difficult it becomes (a different kettle of fish). The dynamic then changes... faster exchanges and more panic setting in. An inspired move to let your rivals bet against you succeeding, as if this game doesn't have enough excitement.

Title: Fun, but pretty easy
Review: We played this game with two teams of three. Each team had two adults and one child (ages 8 and 11). It was fun, but the clues are pretty obvious...basically just definitions...it wasn't much of a challenge for anyone. I don't see a lot of replay value with this game.

Title: Fun!!!!
Review: This is a very good game. My local library hosts a regular Game-Fest and I brought this along. Visualize four tables of players alternating between four different board games. Right from the start, most of the noise came from my table, which was the first to give this a try. We had a very fun time. A few times others just came to stand and watch us play. It is basically one of those "What's another word for..." games, only much better than any other I have come across. Definitely worth playing.

Title: Great family game
Review: This game was fun to play with the family. There was a group of about 10 of us when we played. There were two teachers present and their opinions were that it was a good game for kids play.
