Title: Perfect Solution for Work from Home Employees!
Review: This was the perfect solution for me as a work-from-home employee! Family and friends can now come into my office or call out to me without disrupting me when I am on a call. The unit is very well made and comes with a remote and a lot of display color options. The default message insert that ships with the product shows Busy. I reached out to the company to see if I could purchase the On a Call message insert. They quickly responded and within 10 days, an On a Call message insert arrived at my home. The unit is somewhat heavy but it comes with mounting tape which has held up great so far. The unit comes with a rechargeable battery whose life is maybe 6 hours or so when the unit is displaying a message. The unit can be easily removed from the base to recharge the batteries. I recommend this unit to any WFH employees!

Title: Poor Battery Life
Review: Bought this busy sign for my husband who works from home. Great concept, but there were several issues. The battery only lasted maybe 10 hours. The light kept turning on at night randomly. And if you wanted to screw it to the wall, there were any hooks on the back to do so. We returned this item as it was not a good value.

Title: Ideal for Our Use
Review: This electric sign operated very well and as advertised. It's being used on an entry door to the livestream room at our church. This is a room where other people need to enter for non- livestream tasks before and during each service. A previous plastic not-lighted sign that was hung on the door during each service was not receiving any attention. This sign seems to be greatly helping to reduce production interference. We use the "ON AIR" blinking red option. This sign is a good size for the door, especially since it's not too thick like many other signs on the market. It didn't come with the "ON AIR" sign pattern but an email request for such a pattern was quickly answered and we received the pattern within a few days. We found thatthe customer service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company and their products.

Title: Great Use For Those WFH
Review: I love this, but I think I would hate it if I had to recharge it a lot. I have mounted this on my home office door, cut out the area around the charging port, and installed a flat right angled USB-C plug. Then I extended that plug inside the door, and out the side of the below the bottom hinge and until the frame, and out the drywall near the power outlet, where I have a low mAh plug to power the sign. For me, and I'm glad this is the case, the IR remote works since the door is near on my left of the desk so, I just need to point and turn on/off and then shut the door. Otherwise, I would wish for an RF remote.

Title: A Complicated Way to Do Something Simple
Review: I've been wanting some sort of light-up "do not disturb" sign to post outside of my home office for a while, so I was happy to run across the BusyBox R; I was particularly pleased that not only is it battery operated, but it is controlled via RF remote. In my mind, I would turn it on/off without leaving my computer chair, but it didn't turn out to be that simple. The sign is pretty cool, but it just complicates things, and almost nobody actually NEEDS something this elaborate. The Good- USB-C charging. This is noteworthy because I still routinely see products still being made with ancient micro-USB connectors.- Good battery life. During my use (which is limited to a static, single colour), The sign will operate at full brightness for just under 24 hours before needing to recharge.- Cool RGB effects. Not my cup of tea, but I have to admit they look good.- RF remote. Does not require line-of-sight to operate the sign. The Bad- The RF remote has one on/off button. Since a lot of potential buyers will be posting this outside a door and won't be able to see it while they work, separate on and off buttons would have been a more logical choice. Why? Because I find myself forgetting if I already turned the sign on or off, meaning that I have to open the door to check. With separate buttons, I could simply push the appropriate one over and over and it would either stay on, or stay off -- the single button obviously alternates between on and off with every press, so if I have to go check on it, I might as well hang a reversible "open/closed" sign like you might see on a shop door.- Multi-piece, mostly-plastic construction. While the removable (and swappable) face plate may be a nice customization perk for some, it just adds complexity and introduces an additional potential point of failure. The faceplace must be removed to charge, and you'll probably also need to remove the sign from its baseplate which will be mounted to your wall or door. After jumping thorough these hoops, you're left with a skeletal sign that feels flimsy and allows a partial view of the electronics within, and it does not look like it would survive a single accidental drop. It's fine for responsible adults, but I do not recommend it be handled by children (or clumsy adults).Ultimately, most of my complaints are clearly visible by looking at the marketing images, so I won't give a low rating. However, what you can't see in pictures is what the build quality FEELS like; minus one star for that, because my hands would never believe that this sells for $50.
