Title: Very easy setup.
Review: I am on Comcast. My old modem wasn't keeping up with the speed that I was paying for. I bought this from Amazon and it arrived the next day. Using the Xfinity app on my phone made setup a breeze. I couldn't believe how easy it was. This new modem tripled my internet speed! Buying this modem rather than paying a monthly rental fee was a no brainer. I use this with my self installed mesh router. Great product from a reliable manufacturer. Highly recommend this.

Title: Excellent modem
Review: Have used Netgear modems and routers for over 10 years. I can’t complain, Netgear makes a very good product, very reliable and very stable. The CM3000 cable modem lines up very nicely with the reliability and stability I am accustomed to. My Xfinity broadband download and upload speeds are phenomenal. With my Xfinity Gig tier I am getting 1.25 download and 182 upload, about 25% better than what I am supposed to get. At any given time in my home Directv 4k is streamed on 4 to 6 TVs simultaneously with multiple IoTs, iPhones and PCs all flawlessly connected and using the single broadband pipe provided by my Netgear CM3000.

Title: Died in 3 months
Review: The modem barely made it 3 months before experiencing permanent problems. The modem keeps overheating, even in a ventilated space and following troubleshooting directions. It will not stay on long enough to connect to the Internet.

Title: If you’re looking the best-in-class modem, this is it.
Review: Since I’ve put this modem in, my internet download speeds have skyrocketed. I’m now able to take advantage of the 2Gbs speed of my Internet Service Provider (ISP). Pages just snap into place in my web browser, and download times have been cut in two. Installation was a piece of cake. I simply took out my old modem, plugged in power to the new modem, connected the coax cable, and called my ISP to provision the new modem. Boom! Double speeds. Pair this beauty with an Orbi mesh router, and you’ve got a fast network for both internet traffic and point to point communication within your home with excellent coverage and control.

Title: Perfect…Well Almost
Review: This modem truly gives the most out of those with top tier internet service from carriers like Xfinity. I previously had the Netgear CM2000 that has a 2.5GB ethernet port that provided an average of 2.46Gbps down and 45Mbps up. But this CM3000 provides the same down, yet 370Mbps up with room to grow to 1Gbps up. This increase up speed is great for homes where a few people work remotely using Teams or Zoom. The ‘Almost’ is if a cable company decides to provide anything greater than 2.5gbps, the CM3000 will be limited to 2.5Gbps because of its hardware based ethernet port.
