My best friend Penny and I made a pact that this is going to be our best year ever. So naturally it has to come true.

Truth be told, we’ve started off the semester a little shaky. Penny may have accidentally fallen in love with her professor. I know, how awkward, right? And I may have accidentally fallen in love with a complete stranger. And by accidentally I mean I stalked him. What? Sue me. I’m the one that’s going to be a lawyer one day so I’ll just file a countersuit. God, when did I become a stalker?

Regardless, Penny and I are going to turn this semester around. I’m nothing if not persistent. And that guy that I keep almost running into on campus? The one with the piercing brown eyes and panty-dropping smile? He’s going to be a big part of my best year ever. I can feel it.

Title: Best year ever!
Review: Melissa and Penny were opposites but clicked. They have a strong bond. Depending on each other for support. Both are going through a break up and they are trying to recover from it. Melissa was seeing Conner in high school. She has big dreams and he wants her to stay put. She leaves him. On summer break her last day at home she runs into Conner and his fiancé. She doesn’t show it but she is hurt. Penny is hooked on Austin. She has called him left him messages. She came back to school early so she could run into him. Both Melissa and Penny need a fresh start. Both want to turn the lives around. Great story! I see why Penny and Melissa are friends. It’s nice to have someone you can depend on and help you get through the hard times as well as the good. Great story Ivy!

Title: Short but Sweet for Melissa
Review: This book follows Penny’s roommate Melissa around the first few days of school (beginning of both Obsessed and Temptation)I know the Hunted Series follows the love story that unfolds between James and Penny and the trials they face due to their love for each other but I have felt that after reading the first 2 books from Penny’s point of view that Melissa was someone that I wanted to know more about and I wish she was more used in the series in terms of her friendship with Penny- we do get a lot I just always feel like something may be missing in terms of their friendship and there are moments that I wish there was more.What I loved seeing was the relationship between Melissa and Josh develop in this story from the very beginning. It was something that I did not expect and loved the story of their beginning (especially since guys like Josh are a dime a dozen these days!). I also loved that Melissa was portrayed as a much more vulnerable person compared to how you see her from Penny’s point of view. You get to see a Melissa that is not as strong as Penny sees her and I, for one, love that. Just because someone is strong on the outside, doesn’t mean they aren’t vulnerable at other times and you really get the sense of that with the development of Melissa in this short (VERY SHORT) depiction.

Review: I needed this book to actually care for Melissa's character. It's a fast read and super cute. I recommend reading this if your addicted to the hunted series like I am!

Review: There were a lot of times I didn’t like Melissa in the Hunted series. This book, Best Year Ever, redeemed her. I wanted more of her story and was sad when it ended. Though she’s in the hunted and LTMD series, it’s different reading things from her respective.I love how she and Josh met. They are so cute together! I think a lot of Melissa’s brashness comes from her broken heart and that’s why she came across the way she did in the Hunted.My favorite scene was the rain and mud with Melissa and Josh. It was so sweet. I feel like I need more, which is the only reason I didn’t give this five stars.

Review: Another review if another amazing book. I love everything Ivy writes and I live the spin off books. Ince you are invested in the characters as much as these then you can't get enough of them. So these spin off books are amazing as they pop in and out of other books you can still read about your favourites, whilst still making new ones too.
