Title: Cool gift
Review: This is a great package.The yo-yo is responsive, which is good because we’re not that advanced.Comes in a colorful box with graphics on it. And all sorts of extras inside: 10 strings, a little bag of extra parts (an extra ball bearing ring, two plastic washers, a screw with no head (just tred) and a cylinder tool for assembling. It also comes with a black yo-yo glove (has fingers cut out of it) and a cool “How to” book for tricks. There’s a “velvet” sack to hold your yo-yo (and spare parts) when it’s not being used.The yo-yo is light weight, but not too much so, like others I’ve ordered. I don’t like those. A yo-yo needs a little weight to get it going. For a novice.It’s a very comprehensive collection of items that leaves an impression upon opening. It’s more serious than just receiving a yo-yo by itself.The packaging and it’s contents elevates yo-yo the toy to yo-yo the sport.

Title: Really good beginner bundle with only minor issues
Review: For the price, this is a great bundle. The yo-yo works fine and my copy was pretty stable with minimal vibration. The responsive bearing was a little TOO responsive out of the box, but relaxed a bit after a bit Just be careful on those initial throws since it snaps back really fast. The unresponsive bearing is actually really smooth with some decent spin times. The book is pretty quality with enough tricks for someone completely new. The strings are decent.. kind of the same as all other that come from China. Same story with the glove and pouch. It did also come with extra response pads which isn't something that usually comes with these.The complaints are minor. I'm not a complete beginner, but I'm not remotely a pro. So things like changing the bearings along with the axle are already known to me. However, if you're completely new you'll have to check online since the book doesn't cover that. The axle also might be a little tough to remove since there's no allen key. It's also not slotted on both ends so there's a chance it might have the wrong end facing up (you'll need to bust out the pliers and very very gently grip and twist) As mentioned by other reviewers, it also doesn't tell you how to put on the string which is something that a completely beginner probably doesn't know how to do.Also regarding the trick book, I'd say at about the 2/3 mark the tricks mentioned are more likely geared towards using an unresponsive bearing, but I didn't see any mention of that. Tricks like Eli Hops can be done with responsive, but are a lot easier with unresponsive. I think trying Fingerspins with the responsive bearing and metal throw might risk knocking some of your teeth out.For the price of $13, there's a lot of value in this. Just keep in mind that you'll likely need to have some youtube videos to supplement this if you're completely new.

Title: Responsive Yo-yo (with Booklet & extras)
Review: My 5 year old was trying to get a plastic yo-yo (a cheap goodie bag quality yoyo) to work. There was no way it was going to happen. But he kept trying his hardest and would ask us to show him. None of us could get it to work bc it's basically junk.I decided that we should get a real yo-yo so he understands the concept. I found this one and ordered it right away. This one is so affordable (currently priced at $12) and it comes with a booklet showing different tips/tricks of. Tbh, the booklet was the deciding factor.Comes in a nice box with all the information needed which makes it very giftable. Yoyo is nice and weighty. Feels well made and durable. We'll get a lot of use out of it.

Title: No instructions for putting on strings
Review: I was just about to write my review when I noticed that the one other review left so far is almost identical to what I was going to say. One difference is I am a total beginner yo-yoer..as is my son, who I ordered this for.I was very impressed with the look of this kit and what all it contains. Everything is nice and sleek or bright and colorful and makes the receiver excited to dive in!The booklet is full of many different tricks ranging from beginner to master. The pages I read seemed easy enough to follow. There are 10 colorful strings, a yo-yo glove, a nice storage pouch, and extra bearing pieces.Again, I am a complete novice, but the yo-yo itself seems very durable and good quality.Just like the other reviewer before me, I am deducting a star because there are really no instructions for stringing the yo-yo or replacing the inner parts. I will have to spend some time finding online tutorials to learn these things. For all the instruction manual included, I really believe they missed some of the most obvious and basic information..especially if it is marketed for beginners.Overall, I think the set looks great and the price seems fair. I'm sure my 13 year old son will have lots of fun learning how to use this!

Title: A good yoyo
Review: This was my first experience with a yoyo like this. I ordered two different brands of aluminum yoyos with responsive and nonresponsive switchable bearings. Compared to the other yoyo, the responsive bearings are MORE responsive -- it would be better if they were a little less responsive -- and the nonresponsive bearings are a little loud. However, it's got nice weight, it feels good in the hand, and it seems like it'll last a long time. It's a cool toy.

Title: Excellent yoyo
Review: It has both style of bearing, the kind that will spin forever and the more old school kind that spins for a while then can retract. Most of these modern yoyos just spin and spin and basically impossible to pop it to get it back up. This one reminds me of a very nice looking "Brain" from the 90s. Love it
