Title: Two years in...
Review: And still working like a charm. Solid, sturdy and easy to use. Great to be able to change blades or clean the underside of the mower deck without having to remove it. Lifts the front end to a usable height, about two feet, without being unstable. Highly recommend this if you do work on your own mower.

Title: Works!
Review: I was so tired of wrestling the beast....I couldn't lift it up myself and had to have my wife stand on the back while I lifted and slid the jackstands under. What a pain in the butt. I knew there had to be something like this so I googled it and sure enough these type of things popped up. Did some quick research and this unit seemed to offer everything I needed at a great price.I will admit it took me a bit to assemble it....I had to go back and look at the finished picture about 5 times to figure out how the parts were supposed to go together. However, after carefully examining each assembly picture, I was able to identify the key for each part and put it in the right way....it was kind of like those puzzles in the magazines in the doctors office where there are two pictures side by side and you have to find what is different...once you spot it, you can then assemble that part and go onto the next photo! Eventually I got it together. Hey, it only took me about 2 hrs to do the first one...I promise I can do the next one in 15 minutes, easy....just bring it by!I drove the zero turn up on it, and pumped up the jack...and magic the front end lifted up, up up and I slipped the jackstands under. I was one pleased guy, let me tell you. It is easily worth the money. And as others have said, no, I wouldn't trust the lock. It works well enough to provide some safety as you jack your unit up in the air...but, for only long enough to get those jackstands or blocks under the unit cause it is obvious that a small bump will cause the lock to release and the mower will come down....quickly. It's good enough but could be improved. However, I like the thing for the money I spent.

Title: Does what it is supposed to do
Review: Assembly is pretty easy, took about 20 minutes. Might have taken a bit less but one of the button clips on the wheel cradle was installed poorly, so it didn't function correctly. I had to take that cradle off and align the button clip and reinstall. This does what it is supposed to do. I wanted this so that I could change the blades on my Craftsman mower. It easily lifted the front allowing easy access to the mower deck.It rolls fairly easily in a straight line, but if it isn't lined up well it's a strength thing to move it laterally.I wish that it would collapse a bit flatter for storage. It's fairly bulky. Since I don't expect to regularly use this, it isn't a big deal to semi-disassemble it for storage. I removed the wheel cradles and handles. This allows it to collapse to something about a foot wide, a couple feet long, and about a foot in height. It can't go completely flat due to the bottle jack. I then just hung the wheel cradles onto the device along the wall.I'll take these minor issues in exchange for the price differences for some of the ones I was seeing at Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc. If I was a professional and used this regularly, that might be a different situation.

Title: I need more stars
Review: I received this item on Wednesday the 9th of August. I just assembled this Friday morning. Before I took anything out of the box, I reviewed the installation book. I was not happy with the small pictures of the assembly, but I went ahead and broke open the box and removed the items. It took me all of 30 minutes to assembly the lift, because I was going slow as I removed the items from the box. I was stunned with how easy the assembly took. The item that took the longest to assemble was the jack. That was because I was trying to put the fasteners in so if I need to remove it for what ever reason, I could do it quickly. All a person needs is a pair of needle nose pliers, 10mm and 11mm sockets, and a millimeter hex key, I don't know the size. I didn't have one so I used a pair of pliers to turn the hex head screws.I had one concern after I assembled this product, was the safety bar. It seems to dig into the paint on the leg, causing the metal to rust. I am going to paint this area where the paint was chipped and put some tape there hoping that it will not rust.Great job on the engineering of this product. The only thing is I didn't have enough stars.Larry Langley

Title: An Essential Maintenance Aid
Review: Makes Deck cleaning and blade removal less stressful and dangerous. I wish I'd been able to get one sooner. Unlike my previous jack and axle stand arrangement, this gives enough clearance for an impact wrench to fit under the deck. Amazon shipped this to me in Thailand and I was pleased to find that there were no unexpected extras, even though the Customs commodity code was wrong and it was held up for a few days on entry.

Title: This is a NICE Lift!
Review: I am so happy I bought this lift. It is perfect for lifting the front of my riding 56" cut JD riding mower. A couple negative reviews almost scared me off and I am so glad they did not. This lift was easy to put together, took about 30 minutes or so. I have used it twice now and it works perfectly. Pay attention to all the safety instructions so you know what you are doing. It is not complicated and quite safe with using my 2 jack stands as a fail safe feature once I have it lifted up. I also just bought a pair of $15 rubber wheel chocks for the rear wheels to make sure it never moves back when jacked up. This lift is great for changing blades and cleaning under deck. No need for a bigger more expensive outfit.
