1964 was the year that the U.S. first fell head-over-heels for The Beatles, with an unprecedented run of albums and singles topping the charts and selling millions. Not simply replicas of the 1963 & 1964 albums released by Parlophone in the U.K. and rest of world, Capitol Records & United Artists compiled these albums for U.S. release between 1964-1965. To celebrate this momentous year, seven albums are collected for a new 8-LP vinyl boxset. Meet The Beatles!; The Beatles' Second Album; A Hard Day's Night (Soundtrack); Something New; The Beatles' Story (2-LP set exclusive to the boxset); Beatles '65; and The Early Beatles feature faithfully replicated artwork and new 4-panel inserts with essays by historian/author Bruce Spizer. New lacquers were cut by Kevin Reeves at East Iris Studios with reference to the original pressings to ensure they are faithful to the original release, while also enabling more musical information to be heard than was possible before. 180g vinyl.

Title: Very Nice Beatles Collection
Review: I was looking for a few Beatles' albums that were not yet in my collection, and it seemed like they were pretty expensive. For the same dollars for like 3 albums, I was able to get this set. Most of the older albums feature both mono and stereo versions, and the original album covers, albeit shrunken down to CD size. As a bonus, the Beatles Story CD, interviews and clips, is included. The audio quality is very good and the included picture book is another added feature. Well worth the price for a trip down memory lane.

Title: Best sound!
Review: These discs are not only a replication of the American Albums, but the sound is actually as good if not better than the UK remasters. (Especially the mono) Iâm not sure if itâs updated remastering but to my ears , better than the mono box set at a much much better price!On the stereo remasters there are some true mixes of the original American mixes such as Day Tripper, I feel fine , Sheâs a woman etc.my favorite Beatle cd box set!

Title: USA vs British versions
Review: These are the American version of these albums. They included the singles that were released at the time. The British versions did not include the singles, they were purchased separately. They needed to add other songs. to fill out the album.. This set does not include Sargent Pepper, White Album, Let it Be, or Abby Road. .
