Stitch Applications (32): A Stitch Application simply means a specific sewing technique that you can do with a selected stitch. Basically, Stitch Applications are all the different things you can actually DO with your machine!
Built-In Stitches (4): Choose from a variety of stitches for basic sewing, decorative sewing, and more.
Top Drop In Bobbin (+): Easy to thread and easy to see! The transparent bobbin and cover allow you to monitor your thread supply so you don't run out of thread in the middle of a seam.
Easy Stitch Selection Dial (+): Built-in stitches are displayed on the Stitch Selector Dial. Simply turn the dial to select the stitch you want to sew.
Adjustable Tension (+): Threads should be balanced in the fabric when stitches form. The machine's tension control allows for adjusting the threads to fine-tune the look of the stitch, depending on the fabric and thread being used.
Reverse (Lever): Sew stitches in reverse, usually done to secure a seam at the beginning and end to prevent unraveling.
Free Arm (+): Slide off the Removable Storage Compartment for access to the free arm, making it easy to sew trouser hems, sleeve cuffs and other smaller or tubular projects.
Extra High Presser Foot Lifter (+): Presser foot has an extra high position available to accommodate thick fabrics.
Sewing Space (Needle to Tower) (4.25"): The distance between the needle and the main part of the machine. Having a generous "C" space allows you to sew larger projects like quilts with ease.
Bobbin Class (15 Transparent): SINGER branded bobbins are recommended for best results.
Warranty: (1yr / 25 yr)

Title: Does exactly what I want
Review: This is very easy to use and has a standard set up. It is good for the money. I have been sewing by hand and thought I really donât need a lot of features but front and back is good. So far the only problem I have is the thread keeps breaking and since the tread goes from the front to the back it is hard to thread the needle with a needle threader(my eyes arenât as good as they used to be ) .the light also turns on as soon as you start working on the machine . I bought a case and it is light enough to be easily portable and is quiet. I like the machine a lot.

Title: 1st review...machine Not new.....sent back. 2nd review on machine I reordered...it's OK
Review: First review This machine box had been opened previously...not new. Returned and will reorder.Second review 5/11/23. Received my reordered machine all OK.The machine works quite well but I think it would be difficult for someone who has never operated a sewing machine before to get all the instructions without pulling your hair out ; If you are mechanically inclined you may be able to do it OK. I hope it works for a long time and doesn't give me any trouble. It's made well although the foot pedal isn't quite what I have been used to...it's pretty small, but I'll probably get used to it. The stitch size/design adjuster is great...very helpful. The hardest part of threading the machine is figuring out the thread guide on top, and threading the bobbin. If you have used a sewing machine before it probably won't be too hard. I use only the large type rolls of thread and it does work ok with them. The first thing I tried was the bobbin winder to be sure that worked and it does. There is only (1) speed, and that speed is acceptable for sewing anything...not too fast & not too slow. There is a light on the machine but only comes on when the machine is plugged in...which is also fine. The worst part of the whole threading of the machine is the threading the needle after you finally get the thread down to it. The needle hole is from back to front and instructions say to thread it that way too. Getting the needle threader into that hole in the back of the needle was a challenge... But maybe the more I do it the easier it will be. UPDATE...the only change from last review is the needle threading... I had it wrong, the needle threads from front to back and is really quite easy to do. Stick with the manual and you will have it in no time ð 9/15/23. Worked well for about 3 months and then the bobin started causing me trouble and actually quit making stitches at all...so was able to send back with a charge for shipping. Not sure what to do now, as I don't want to go through that again. Oh to have my old singer (metal) machine back...I can dream, I guess.ð had to change the stars to (1)

Title: Easy to Use
Review: Received this last night. Took less than 5 minutes to set up this morning. I hemmed a pair of linen pants this morning beautifully! Tension was perfect! Stitching was perfect! I then went on to take in a lightweight knit shirt on the side seams. All hell broke loose. ð² the thread gummed up and was just a mess. Adjusting the tension didnât help either. I tried to reload the bobbin and discovered that the bobbin casing is NOT turningâ¦, so it isnât feeding as it should. Such a shame! This was going to be perfect for little fixes here and there. I will send back ð

Title: Never Sewed Before, Still Got My Money's Worth
Review: I needed to take in 10 dress shirts which would have cost me ~$110 and a week's wait. This machine and the supplies cost the same and I was able to accomplish the task on a Saturday afternoon after watching a few YouTube videos. I had no hands-on sewing experience prior to this project.I had a lot of apprehensions prior to starting but this turned out to be a great experience. This is an incredibly user friendly machine IF you follow the instructions and/or watch the company's free tutorial. The threading guides are clear and both the sewing and bobbin winding features work. I did break the thread a few times initially, but it was my fault. The feed speed is very manageable and the gap is big enough to fit adult sized hands. But the machine is light and tiny enough to store on a desk and not take too much room.If it were to break tomorrow, I'll be fine. And when it breaks, I'll be ready to upgrade to another singer model.

Title: Perfect for Beginner.
Review: I purchased this for my 21-yr-old granddaughter who wants to learn to sew. Itâs perfect for that. Not a machine loaded with bells and whistles to frustrate her. Easy to understand so she can get up and running on little projects right away. The price point is such that Iâm not going to feel bad if she loses interest or moves up to a better machine.

Title: Sewing machine doesn't want to sew
Review: Worked great for about 3 or 4 items and then started having issue after issue. Nothing could fix it and it was frustrating losing hours on projects trying to troubleshoot every time this SEWING machine decided not to SEW! Don't waste the time or energy. Take and apply the cost to a better machine.Nice size, easy set up. Could be a great basic machine if it worked.
