Title: Good for it's size
Review: It took a bit of work for the first pass. After this, the maintenance has been pretty much good as you would hope. Having a larger battery or 2 is a must for at least the first time. Then it will take less power to trim up. I went through 2 batteries the first time I used it, and I have a small yard.Since then I have used it for creating a border for my yard and it works well.I almost bought another brand since I have batteries for that brand too, but I will stick with this one as it really does what I need pretty well.

Title: Better than gas, easy to use, compact storage!
Review: Just used this edger for the 1st time and loving it! I demand a well edged lawn and used a gas unit that had continuous issues with a bad float / carburetor. I had to shell out $100s in repairs numerous times. I was done with that gas machine. So I bought the Crafstman edger. I have many other craftsman tools and am a huge fan of the brand and quality. Charged up the batteries after delivery, and went to town on sidewalks, landscaping bricks and lawn edging. I was amazed how powerful it was and so easy to use. The second battery is awesome if you have a lot of edging like me! Never worry about not completing the job. The bonus is the tiny amount of space it takes up in my garage. Tucks away easily into a corner. Love this machine! Nice work craftsman!

Review: Will it do what you want, short answer yes, but it’ll take longer than expected.Unit gets caught in my grass pretty often and auto shuts off. Lifting the guard helps some but I still have to go slower than I would otherwise.

Title: This edger has the power to work just like gas-powered edgers
Review: I have owned both electric and gas-powered edgers and neither compares to this battery powered Craftsman edger. I keep one battery on the charge and one in my pocket when work in the yard. I almost forget that I don't have to loop cords over flower beds and landscaping lights or other things in the yard. I am free to move around as I please and the power of this edger let's me clean up areas that haven't been edged in years. No more mixing gas and oil. Just slap on a battery and go. Then know you are going to have the best yard in the neighborhood!
