Title: Solid switch, wish it had a good way to mount it
Review: this is a nice, heavy duty, switch. I use it in a boat to turn the batteries on/off. mounting it isn't fun and the openings in the back are either completely closed or wide open, no way to make a small slot for just the wire to poke out without drilling (and then cracking) the plastic.Overall works really well though, happy with my purchase.

Title: Cheap to purchase but the In hand quality is far short of the Perko brand. Certainly functional.
Review: I am not sure I would trust this running at near rated amps, I basically use them as a disconnect switch for mu Electronics and graphs on the boat. So far so good but time will tell if Perko was the better value. These turn on and off but feel mushy and lack the decisive click or thump the Perko switches have that feels like quality. Blue Sea is another top brand that likely has one of these compact marine switches. I am satisfied thus far for only a $14 purchase but with that said I am only running 4-6 amps through these or I would of Bought name brand.

Title: Great way to add a battery kill switch on a small boat
Review: Kill switches on marine batteries are a must-have, as power can leak through boat electronics while a boat is moored, and eventually run down the battery. This is an inexpensive way to add a kill switch, mounted to the outside of a battery case. You will need one pigtail at least a foot long to connect one terminal of this to one terminal on the battery inside the case. Be aware that, when installed this way, the battery case will stay with the boat (it would be a big job to remove it), but it's as easy as ever to unhook the battery itself and remove it from the case (and the boat).
