Title: Comfortable, functional and good-looking.
Review: I needed sturdy boots to wear while riding my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, and decided to give Skechers a try since the other Skechers shoes I've owned have been exceptionally comfortable. Ordering shoes or boots online is always a bit of a gamble, but these fit well right out of the box. The toe box is 'relaxed fit' which is perfect for motorcycle riding so that your toes aren't jammed together on the pegs. I have a narrow foot, so added a padded insole for a better fit.The soles are very firm and stable, which is why I needed boots for riding in the first place. With heavier bikes it's important to have solid support whenever you're straddling the bike with your feet on the ground, to keep the weight balanced and steady. I wasn't sure these boots would be heavy enough to provide the needed support, but they turned out to be perfect. Of course they're not dedicated moto boots, with reinforced ankle points and so on, but for around town they're fine. I do have a heavier and taller pair of boots for touring.I've owned these boots for three years now and wear them with jeans for almost any occasion because they're so comfortable. Some people think I'm wearing Blundstones, but these feel better than Blunnies due to the relaxed toe box, plus they're half the price.Two weeks ago the rubber sole started separating from the leather upper on one boot, so I'm planning on going to a shoe repair shop soon to have it re-attached. I'm taking a star off for the sole coming loose, although perhaps that's to be expected after three years.

Title: Good deal
Review: The pic does not show the zipper and the description does not mention it. It just says "Closure type - slip on. The zipper starts just over 3 inches above the heel which seems reasonable as I don't plan to go wading in any obviously deep water with these. I have worn them walking through flooded sidewalks and rain soaked grassy areas and my feet have stayed dry with these. They are roomy and reasonably comfortable. And they go on and off pretty quick with no laces to worry about.

Title: Work boots
Review: I was searching for a leather work boot that was comfortable and would cover my ankles as well. I love the fact that there are no laces to get in the way. I simply slip my boots on in the morning and off I go. They are extremely durable. I have had mine for a few years now and they are still going strong. This is just what I needed. I recommended them to a few of my coworkers.

Title: Different sizing
Review: I have purchased many of these same pair of shoes from Big Box Store but the last 2 pair I have owned were ordered from Amazon. Not sure why but both pair fit differently. This last pair have been horrible just trying to get my foot into the shoe. Once my foot is down into the shoe the fit is decent. This type of shoe has a zipper on the side and allows the shoe to open up more for your foot to drop in. The last 2 pair I have ordered have had an issue and this last pair is really bad. Most of the time the fit is a little tight at first but usually break in within a couple of weeks of wearing them every day. The last pair I purchased never loosened up and I am having to use a pair of plyers to pull the back of them up over my heel. Like I said once they are on, they seem to fit ok. But now because they are so tight pulling them on the zipper has broken, which kind of leaves them no good because without zipping them up they flop around on your foot once they are on. I truly love these types of shoes but will have to go back to box store to purchase.

Title: Lasts about 6 months as a work boot.
Review: This is my second pair, exact boot. I work in a dry production floor environment. I average 15,000 steps a day. I use a Tread Labs insole to support my high arches. That said, The memory foam sole is comfortable, but loses it's cushiony goodness around the fifth month. With my wide feet, they start out a little tight, but break in pretty quickly. the tread still looks fine after six months. The true failure point on these shoes is where the leather upper is attached to the sole. It just starts to pull apart, and in different places. With my first pair, it began to separate around the right shoe's toe area. This second pair is disconnecting on the right side of the heel, Right side shoe. Originally these shoes ran in the $70 dollar range, but I see they have gone up. Honestly if I'm going to pay over a hundred bucks, I'm going to look for other options this time. Update: There are holes where the leather upper is disconnecting from the sole. I went shopping for new shoes. This worn memory foam cushion is STILL SOFTER than many new name brand shoes. I considered purchasing another pair, but my local store did not carry them.
