Title: Nice design at a fraction of the cost...
Review: Wall hung toilets can be really pricey. The Kohler Veil lists for $2,000 to $3,000. The Swiss Madison St Tropez will cost you around $500 (Toilet+in-wall tank carrier+Flush button plate) and is just as good as the Kohler in my experience. It has a very clean modern look.I have 3 of them in my new house and they work flawlessly. One has been in use for 4 years. As all "water saving" toilets they rarely get the job done in one flush but I have come to expect that from every newer toilet so I don't consider it a problem.Based on other reviews I have added this: To hang a tank cantilevered on the wall, the wall needs to be really strong. We used 2x6 walls with double studs on both sides of the tank carrier and bolted the steel frame to the floor and studs with big lag screws. The carrier frame needs to be rock solid before you close up the wall otherwise the toilet will flex. The tank also needs to be really tight against the wall and the concealed hardware provided is not intuitive to use. The mounting pins need to be threaded to the EXACT depth indicated in the instructions otherwise the tank will not tighten up properly. We installed 3 of these and the learning curve on the first one was steep. My plumber was mystified at times...It does meet code and passed all inspections.

Title: Very difficult installation due to poor documentation
Review: The installation "guide" supplied with the unit was basically a few pictures and captions.Unfortunately, the devil's in the details, and this documentation had almost NO detail. After watching numerous YouTube videos from others attempting this install, I was able to get it installed and working properly. Also, there were some missing parts (mine was a restocked unit maybe?) but they made good on sending replacements without any hassle whatsoever. Now that it's installed and working, it's great. It's the only kind of toilet that I could install in a location where there was no space for a floor drain.Since this drains about 6" off the floor, I was able to route the drain line over to the stack with more than enough slope to allow for proper drainage. The flush mechanism works great, haven't had any issues clearing the bowl after use. Also, I mounted it in a 2x10 wall because I wanted to be positive it would not flex or wobble; that worked well.Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. But oh, for a set of actual directions!!! These are no where as easy to install as a floor mounted toilet, and the instructions should have more detail regarding why the pipes connecting the toilet to the frame need to be cut. And how those mounting bolts work and are installed. You shouldn't need to "figure it out" when you buy a brand new unassembled device like this. Please do better with the instructions, or at least have something on your website that goes in to detail

Title: Saves me hours of cleaning!
Review: Only man would have designed the traditional toilet with it's curves right in the most difficult area to get to in order to clean. LOLHow many hours of my life have been spent crawling on my knees, meticulously cleaning those porcelain covered pipes?I LOVE that the pipes are concealed, cleaning is streamlined and I can clean UNDER the toilet with a swiffer mop!!!It's a bit uncomfortable to lean back when sitting. My only possible suggestion for improvement.

Title: Poor design & poor quality
Review: (1) They supply you with a weird plastic bolt system to hold the toilet on the wall... not sturdy nor secure (you cannot use your own metal bolt due to the odd way it needs to be tightened due to a lack of access - see below)(2) Very difficult to install due to no realistic way to get your arm under and inside the toilet.I returned it and bought a more reliable toilet from an established company.

Title: Installation Instructions Don't Match their own Manuals
Review: I'm a licensed GC. For reference: St Tropez toilet, carrier system and actuator plate were purchased and installed. The carrier system is required for the toilet as it holds the water within the stud wall for flushing. Instructions for how to install both the carrier system and the toilet are included in the carrier system instructions, however, the instructions for the toilet install are incorrect as improper fasteners are referenced as needed but then are not when reading the actual toilet install manual. Other fasteners are required (not the plastic washer, metal washer, metal nut) , so now the toilet has to come off the wall. In the toilet mount instructions, # 5 says mount the toilet, #6 says anchor the bowl using these "NEW" fasteners we have never seen before. You would think all manuals should match and not describe bolts that are not needed. Not only are the instructions unclear, but they include parts not referenced anywhere like a large rubber/foam template in the shape of the bowl but not a perfect fit, again, with no description on why it is included, the purpose or how to use it. The tank system manual shows reference part numbers within a diagram. But nowhere is there a description of the parts they have referenced. Same bad instructions with the actuator plate but in this case, no description of the parts, no written explanation for what the parts do, if they stay on after rough-in or that you should trim, cut and then leave in place. The carrier system comes with a template of cutting out where the actuator plate goes but does a poor job writing and explaining much of anything, it shows non color pictures but shows no direction of the parts and does not simply tell you, in words, what the right orientation is, if trimming is required and how to disassemble if needed. That's a separate manual! UGH

Review: Some accessories were defective , the plumber had to do a lot of tweaking to install them which took 3 times the regular alloyed installation time. Once the toilet bowl installed it was leaking from the rear side due to defective fabrication. After paying 400$ for the installation , we have to return it and pay a second time to install a replacement toilet bowl. Very costy , disappointing and frustrating. Would not recommend ,

Customers say

Customers like the design and functionality of the toilet. They mention it's sleek, works great, and the flush mechanism is excellent. However, some customers have reported issues with the ease of installation, missing parts, and strength. They say the instructions are incorrect, the concealed hardware provided is not intuitive to use, and the screws are very inaccessible.
