Review: "The Manhattans" est un groupe de rythm and blues populaire, originaire non pas de Manhattan mais du New Jersey (Ah! la fascination exercée par la grande ville!), qui a créé de nombreuses chansons à succès dans les années 60 et 70, et en particulier "kiss and say goodbye" en 1976, vendu à des millions d'exemplaires. L'ensemble est honnête et plutôt agréable, bien que sans véritable génie et assez répétitif (le texte larmoyant et sentimental à bon marché dit par une voix de basse sur fond de musique est un coup qu'on ne nous fait plus)...Enfin, on a entendu pire!
