Get expertly landscaped results with the 40V PowerShare 13” Cordless String Trimmer and Wheeled Edger. 40V is double the power of most string trimmers. So we’ve included two 20V PowerShare MaxLithium batteries to double your runtime and give your trimmer/edger gas-like performance. Not only that, you can use these batteries on any lawn or power tool on the WORX PowerShare platform. It’s easy to switch this trimmer into an edger, just push a button and rotate the head. The Command Feed spool system gives you more line at the press of a button. The adjustable D-grip handle lets you work from any angle, and the pivoting head lets you cut on uneven stretches of lawn.

Title: This Worx trimmer does not disappoint!
Review: Over ten years ago I purchased a Worx trimmer; it was guaranteed for five years. It lasted ten. This new timer has more power and a longer run time. The Worx trimmer works great. Light weight and easy to use. I have other Worx yard tools and love every one of them. I highly recommend Worx!

Title: Fantastic Trimmer and Edger
Review: I spent a lot of time looking at cordless string trimmer and finally took the plunge with the worx 40V 2X20 power share, 13 inch. Used it 3 times and I think it is fantastic. I've seen some reviews not real positive on the battery life. That's been fine for me - approx 30 mins as advertised. Not bad, its what I expected. But the list of things of that are better than expected is long and more important - the power, the edger mode, the wheel(s) for edging, the battery weight (light), overall weight, strength of aluminum shaft, multi-position handle for adjusting angles - all working great. Also seems to chew up line a LOT slower than my current trimmer. The bump feature works very well. The feel and quality of all parts seem great, and assembly was easy. Also - upside surprise - the use of the wheel for edging works better than I expected and prevents me from holding the trimmer too close to sidewalks and chewing up the line. For relatively small suburban yards where you are more likely to do more edging than true weed whacking, this is a really outstanding product. Can't say enough good things about it. Superior product decent price.

Title: Two batteries does NOT mean extended run time.
Review: After spending most of the last two seasons fighting with a handful of new 2-stroke weed-eaters (I can't find any new 2-stroke tools that I can get to reliably run for more than a month or so before needing constant adjustment) I figured I would give a battery-powered unit a try. I live in the country and keep up about 2 acres so battery life was my main concern. The Good:This trimmer has just as much power as any gas-powered trimmer I've ever used. Plenty of torque to cut through thick, overgrown brush. With a double-line head (it only has a single-line) it would be absolutely on par with any gas-powered unit that I have used.I haven't ever used a trimmer with a single-line head before, but I can only guess that's the reason that this unit seems like it barely uses any string. Where I would, in the past, commonly use at least one full reel of .085 - .100 string to do my weekly trimming, this unit can go at least twice the distance. It seems to me that the reel holds no more string than the other trimmers I've used.Having used only the standard bump-feed style line feed systems, I was apprehensive about the push-button feed system. It works just fine. Nothing to complain about. The Bad:I specifically bought this unit because it came with two batteries. I figured that meant I could have a battery on the charger while I was using the other battery in the unit. After I got the trimmer out of the box I quickly realized that I was wrong, and came back to the product description to realize that I had misread what was stated pretty clearly. Don't make the same mistake I did. It's a 40V unit and it comes with 20V batteries - this means that it needs both batteries installed to run.Battery life is so-so. I was hoping to get about a half-hour of use out of the trimmer on a charge. I can get no more than about 20 minutes of operation, less if I'm cutting thick brush. This is ok, but barely. In order to make using this trimmer convenient, I need at least one more set of two batteries. Four more (a total of six) would actually let me use it about as effectively as a comparable gas trimmer. The batteries take about an hour to charge with the included charger. HOWEVER, if you have just been using them in the trimmer, it will take 15+ minutes for them to cool enough to start the charging cycle. So figure on at least 90 minutes, conservatively, to get the batteries back once they're dead.In conclusion, I'm actually pretty happy with this trimmer. I don't have to spend an hour or two every month monkeying around with carburetors, which was my main objective. I was concerned about run-time on my larger property, but with a few extra batteries I think this is going to be remedied. Depending on how long the batteries last before they need to be replaced, the savings in trimmer string that this unit allows will help offset the cost of the batteries. Also, a comparable gas trimmer would cost at least $50 - $100 more, so that offsets the cost of batteries as well. If you live in an average suburban house with an average suburban yard, the run time and trimming power will be more than sufficient.

Title: So far, so good. I like the double battery configuration with more power.
Review: So far, so good. I like the double battery configuration with more power which my last one did not have. There was a problem with the line in the cartridge which came with it. It's a plastic, or something . Since I have tons of fence, it taps the fence and breaks, and I miss the bumping for linefeed. Now there is a button you push to advance line. It is not at a convenient place to push as you are trying to keep the engage leaver going. I ordered DeWalt line I will wind into the carterage which is three strands of nylon braided. I'm hoping that will not bother me.

Title: Easy to change between trimmer and edger
Review: Bought this as a replacement for a Ryobi edger/trimmer that died. This is longer and slightly heavier than the Ryobi, but is well balanced, so I donât get too fatigued when using it. Switching between using it as a trimmer and an edger is easy, and the wheels makes edging easy as well. The two batteries provide plenty of power and the .080 line is strong enough to trim and edge.

Review: This Weed Wacker is great for trimming the property. I have a large area and before I get done, the unit begins to slow down a bit. So I purchased heavier duty batteries. It is great to not have to fuss with fuel, and crank many times to start it, as it fires up as soon as you push the trigger. It has the power to trim the toughest weeds without stalling. The cover keeps the debris away from your legs, Nice feature to just push a button when more cord needed. It does almost stop rotation but only for a second. Fairly light weight and easy to maneuver back and forth. Ruggedly built so should last long time. Batteries not sure ! Charger is great for original and 6000ma ones.
Customers say
Customers like the functionality and ease of use of the string trimmer. They mention it gets the job done, is simple to assemble, and is easy to convert into an edger. Some are also happy with the value for money and quality. However, some customers dislike the line feed. Opinions are mixed on the battery life, durability, and weight.
