Title: Great collection for study, intermediate to advanced
Review: I’m re-introducing myself to piano, after years of not playing, and I find that this is a good collection, especially for intermediate to advanced students. It has a few pieces that could be practiced by a beginner student, such as Prelude in E Minor by Chopin, but for the most part, this book is on the advanced side. It would have been nice if they could have created sections for Beginner, Intermediate, etc, nut as it is, you have to search for a piece that looks like it could be on your level. Either that, or have your piano teacher suggest a few pieces for you. In any case, the price is good for this collection. It is a bit difficult to keep open on a music stand, but you can just buy a metal music book clip, sold here on Amazon. They work great!

Title: Good selection
Review: Good selection of songs, it has a lot of the songs I’ve been looking for. The only downside I’ve found is the binding is pretty stiff, so it’s hard to keep the book open to the pages you want to use. Metal clips come in handy for that. With more use that will probably not be so bad though.

Review: This is an incredible collection of compositions. I just got a piano keyboard in addition to my acoustic and have enjoyed using different piano and harpsichord voices to play these pieces. This has been so much fun! Highly recommended.

Title: Not for beginners.
Review: My son is an advanced beginner and this was too hard. If you are looking for fairly easy pieces this is not the book for you. Seems to be advanced intermediate level. If the skill level matches you this seems like a nice book with a good music selection.

Title: Missing details (dynamics/ornaments)
Review: Received the book about 3 weeks ago and have gone through 2 pieces: Minuet in G, and Gymnopedie 1.Pro: good quality paper, clear print, good selectionsOK: from other reviews, I already know there’s no fingering info and that the book doesn’t stay open easily.Con: of the 2 pieces I’ve gone through, both were missing important details. Minuet in G: missing all the ornaments (4 mordents, 1 inverted mordant, 1 appoggiaturas was mistakenly marked as acciaccaturas). Gymnopedie 1: missing all the crescendo and diminuendo signs. I had to find copies online to reconcile with the info in the book… time consuming.
