Title: A nice tree for a small space
Review: I got the 7 foot tree. It is not pre-lit. I have a very small house and it fit perfectly. It was great to have such a nice looking tree. It holds a lot of ornaments. The price is excellent and I feel the quality is great.It is easy to put together and the stand is sturdy. If you want it to look nice, you have to take your time putting it together. It goes together easily, and there are enough branches for a full look.However, you need to have patience fluffing out the branches. You will have to carefully separate each one and strategically spread them nicely for a full look. This is true for any "fake" tree you purchase. If you find you have bald spots, try spreading the branches a little better.I recommend a bottom-up approach. Put your tree in the middle of the room and start fluffing on the bottom branch and work your way up. I didn't stack the tree first. I worked on the bottom section and added as I worked up. These branches are staggered so they look more natural.When you are ready to put it away it fits into the box.

Title: Nice tree but pay attention
Review: Tree is nice and full - simple to assemble, and exactly what I wanted for the space that I have. It is VERY WORTHWHILE to take the time to fluff out the branch tips, it makes a huge difference. I chose an unlit tree opting to string some programmable LEDs which has been fun. The tree is not UNSTEADY, but it is not ROCK SOLID either. I'm not worried about it tipping but I would not jostle it too much once you have it up where you want it. I don't have ornaments on it yet but there are plenty of tips and they seem firm enough to handle average ornaments. I was pleasantly surprised that - although a single tip (not a whole branch) detached during the fluffing process, there was very little needle shredding. Here's the reason for the "pay attention".....when I placed the top section on top of the assembled bottom and middle, it almost looked like the top was too small for the rest of the tree. I started fluffing the branches and that helped, but the oddity in shape between the sections was still noticeable. I looked closely and I saw that the bottom layer or two of the top section are branches that are actually hinged (I wasn't expecting that on the top section). But they don't drop automatically like the bottom and middle section ones, I had to gently pull them down. I thought there might be a string around the section keeping the branches from dropping, but I didn't see one. Once I pulled the branches down and fluffed the tips, it looked just fine. I'd probably deduct half a star if that was possible for the slight unsteadiness, but overall I'm happy with the tree.

Title: Perfect, reasonably priced slim-fit unlit tree for my new office/library space, with comments on initial setup and "fluffing"
Review: I have been looking for a slim (but tall) realistic looking artificial tree to dress up the new office/library space in my home. I've looked at Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Big Lots, TreeClassics, and HomeDecorators (these last two are online only stores). While I found some trees that would work, none were as slim as I wanted (I was looking for a tree with a base width of approximately 30" rather than 36") and most that were at the height I wanted (7.5') were priced between $150-$300, which was simply more than I wanted to spend. The less expensive trees that I saw just looked cheap and fake. Because I have plenty of strands of lights already, a pre-lit tree was not a requirement. I finally found this one on Amazon, and based on the reviews and pictures, decided to order it. I'm very pleased that I made this decision!This tree arrives in a box measuring 39"L x 11"W x12"D. The box is made of a thick, heavy cardboard that can be used for storage after the holidays, which will fit easily into a closet or basement storage space. My 10-year-old son and I unpacked the tree and had it assembled in place in about five minutes; set up was simple. The tree consists of three sections and has a small stand. The bottom two sections have hinged branches that basically fall open into place once the tree is upright. The top section has grouped branches for the bottom third and single branches above these that are attached directly to the center pole and can be bent down into the position you desire. There is an eye screw in the stand to stabilize the tree once it is assembled. The branches are well constructed, with realistic needles. There was very little needle shedding during set up.Right out of the box and placed upright, the tree looks nothing like what is pictured in the listing. There are huge gaps between the branches, and it looks very strange; each branch must be "fluffed" by opening up the individual pieces on each branch from their compressed state. My son and I only spent about 20 minutes "fluffing" the branches after standing it up. My photos show what the tree looked like after we were done with this initial set up.We have a 7.5' artificial green Alpine fir that we use in our family room (purchased about 14 years ago from TreeClassics) and have found that the best method for making these trees look full is to start with the innermost section of each branch (the part closest to the center post) and push open into a modified star or flower shape, so that the inner pieces are spread wider than the outer section pieces (see close-up photo). I will continue to "fluff" the branches a bit more, until I'm fully satisfied with the way it looks, but I expect that I won't need to spend any more than an extra 10-15 minutes on it. You can see from my pictures that the naked tree doesn't look quite as full as the picture shown in the Amazon listing, but once I finish "fluffing" it and add the lights and ornaments, I'm sure that it will look great; I will update my review with additional pictures once the tree is fully decorated.At the time of my purchase (in mid-November 2016), I paid the FULL price of $76. I did not receive any discount, nor was I given any incentive for leaving this review.

Review: I decided to write this review to help others with answers to questions I had about this tree. First off...this tree is fantastic for the price! I shopped around for quite awhile before deciding to purchase this tree. I went to Michael's, Canadian Tire, Wal Mart, and no one carried a slim tree in 7.5ft with a 30inch base (width), and under $200! It was shipped quickly (arrived in 2 days with Prime) and zero damage to the box or the contents inside. I found assembly quick, and easy (an hour at the most), and the tree is light, and easy to manoeuvre, I didn't need my husbands help during any point. When you first open the box...you may be shocked at how compact, and sparse the tree looks but as you put it together, and shape the branches section by section the tree will begin to come to life! Yes...you need to spend some time fluffing each branch, but if you take your time, and do this step...the tree WILL look as full as the picture. Upon reading reviews regarding this tree I decided to order the 7.5ft (we have 8ft ceilings) as a few people mentioned that the tree isn't true to height, and I can attest to that. The tree (once in it's stand set up and fluffed) is more like 7ft. The top of the tree has a 5 to 6inch long branch that is quite flimsy...and you will need to fold up some of the other branches to support an angel or star. Onto the tree stand....I agree with other reviews that this stand is cheap...and even when screwed in tightly it doesn't support the tree very well. You may also need to fiddle with the tree to try and get it straight in the stand. I personally will be buying a new stand for this tree. After the set up was complete, I was impressed with how realistic is looks, and was shocked at the fact that absolutely no needles were on the floor...AMAZING! I'm very pleased with this purchase, and would highly recommend this tree for the price, the size and shape, and ease of assembly. Well worth the money!
