Title: Gets the job done!
Review: Very, very pleased with this purchase. It has several filters which works great for either leaves or algae. It’s quiet, does NOT require a booster pump and even climbs up the walls. My husband selected it due to high ratings and it was a great choice. Gets the pool clean in WAY LESS time than the Polaris ever did and never gets tangled up or stuck in a corner of the pool. Definitely recommend.

Title: Don’t buy Dolphins
Review: I needed to replace my old Polaris and saw that this Dolphin had good reviews. My experience with the device resulted in a return for two reasons:1) The basket this thing uses is basically some filters attached to the bottom panel. It really isn’t a basket at all and cannot be any less user-friendly. Turning the thing upside down and attaching/reattaching the bottom grew tiresome. The panel/filters were also much more challenging to clean than a typical basket. My wife, who has the patience of a saint, was even starting to get irked cleaning this thing.2) I chose this specific device for the ability to use the smart app control. I am a tech person who owns a home with a ton of smart devices. As a result, I know how easy it is to create an app that connects to a device via wifi or bluetooth. Unfortunately, I erred in not researching the Dolphin iPhone app before buying their products. Yes, it appears to be rated highly, but sorting by most recent reveals an infinite number of 1-star reviews. It’s safe to say I never got the app to connect to the Dolphin device, which is simply inexcusable for any product at this point.Lastly, I will say that Dolphin has many different pool vacuums and it did a good job of cleaning the pool. Therefore, if you want a Dolphin, find a cheaper one with the typical overhead basket. Also go into it knowing that app will not work.

Review: Just received my new dolphin “ robot”How they can call it a robot is beyond me. You turn it on and it goes. There is nowhere in the instructions that say how long a cycle is. Nowhere does it say other functions are except programming I suppose when you go on vacation because if you set it to go every 3 days, unless you never take it out of the water, it will turn on if you happen to forget to put it back in the water. My other dolphin cleaner had choices. Just the walls, quick clean, just the floor, or full clean. This model has NONE of those and for $1,400.00 I expected more out of it so they most likely will be getting this back. Very disappointed

Title: 2024 model is a downgrade
Review: I got my first Dolphin Premiere in 2017, and it did a great job of keeping my 35,000-gal pool clean from bottom to waterline. The 2024 model seemed too weak to clean the waterline, while the original tried to climb out of the pool. Also, the 2024 model I got did not let me know when the filter was full, suggesting a quality control issue. Fortunately, returning it was painless. In the end, I got a Dolphin E70 locally AND had my 7-year old Premier repaired by the same shop (for about half what the 2024 model costs). I love them both! The refurbished Premier seems even more vigorous than the original, and the E70 does an adequate job, plus it has all the advantages of its internet-connected app. So, which to use, and which to keep as a spare? While the old Premier is proving itself as I write this, I’ll probably use the E70 till it needs repair because its filter lasts longer between cleanings, and the filter is lots easier to clean.Bottom line: if you are in the market for a new pool robot, the easy but more pricey solution is a Dolphin E70. For the budget option, if you have the time and energy, find a used older Premier and have a local Dolphin dealer refurbish it. I’ve read a lot of reviews and talked to a few dealers. These seem like the best options to me.

Title: The Total Package!!!
Review: We put this thing to work immediately because honestly, with it being priced at the top of the market I wanted to start getting my money worth right away! In cases you’re wondering we have extended pool seasons in Texas today is 10/5 and it was 95 degrees!The thing that wowed me the most about this robot is its amazing wall climbing and wall clearing abilities! Say goodbye to that dirty water line that you usually have to scrub out with man power!! Another cool feature is that thing that looks a handle isn’t actually a handle (even though it’s great for that), it’s a stabilizer that makes this machine stick to your wall like glue giving it the force it needs to clean your walls thoroughly! So the big question is, “is it worth the money?”…. I’d say heck yea! This is an early review so we’ll have to see about durability but based off what I’ve seen in 3 days, I think I’ve bought my last pool robot!! I’ve never had one last more than 2 summers but this thing is built well and it seems like it’s going to last!! We’ll see…. I’ll do an update next season!

Title: Great for a deep clean
Review: I am happy with this purchase! I still have my old Polaris 280 and it’s nice to keep in the pool for daily quick cleans and larger debris. However, i like having the Dolphin Premier to throw in for a good deep clean/scrub once in a while or i see some algae getting out of control. I was surprised how much stuff gets picked up in the cartridge filters when I thought my pool was spotless. Also climbs and scrubs the walls which my Polaris won’t do. Cleaning the filters is a pretty quick easy process with a water hose.
