Title: Easy To Use
Review: I've only used my new can opener one time so far...for three different cans...but it works great. It removes the entire top of the can so there are no sharp edges. Easy to work and instructions are easy to understand. The can opener does not shut off after it has cut around the can but the sound changes so you know it is finished. You do have to hold the handle down to open the cans and you have to release the handle to stop it and release the can. No problem...great can opener.

Review: I was uncertain at first, seemed to have to partly support the can to keep it from falling. I'm not sure what I was doing but I haven't had any problems since. Works awesome, no sharp edges and no edge to hold anything in the can, smooth opening makes it easy to get everything out. Sturdy build, looks good and works great.

Review: I was forced to replace a manual can opener that quit working (cutting through metal) soon after I bought it. My mom recommended the Oxo one (there's 2 and they both have excellent reviews here), but I opted for this electric one. A small price to pay for a tiny bit of ease in my life.This works wonderfully. It cuts the can open so that neither the top nor the can edge after cutting are sharp. You won't ever accidentally cut yourself. No effort is involved after loading the can. Is not the cheapest option, but is a delightful small frustration-free luxury, and I love it.

Title: Easy to use!
Review: I love this can opener! It's attractive enough to leave on the counter, black and stainless like my other appliances but the real reason for my 5 star ++ rating is that it's super easy and safe to use. My hands and wrists are not as strong as they used to be and opening a can was difficult and could be dangerous with the sharp edges of the can. This beauty cuts below the lip of the can so there is no sharp edge and can also be used to reseal the can if you only use part of the contents. It is so simple and easy to use, so for all of you older folks like me, you will love this purchase.

Review: Hamilton Beach (76606ZA) Smooth Touch Electric Automatic Can Opener: We purchased this because both my husband and I are having trouble using our manual can opener due to arthritis in our hands. We put off buying an electric because we didn't want to have more things on the counter, but this is nice looking and does not take up a lot of space.I spent a lot of time looking at reviews both online and in Amazon before buying this product. This got mostly very good reviews, but I admit I should have been more careful before ordering it. There were two Hamilton Beach can openers that looked identical. One was a couple of dollars cheaper than the other though. Well, by that point I was tired and did not explore why it was cheaper. I thought it was a no brainer...just order the cheaper one! Well when I opened it up I found out that it was cheaper because this one did not have the scissors in the back. It has the opening to put the scissors, but the scissors was not included. To be honest I really don't know if I would have used it much anyway, but I am disappointed that I did not get what I expected to get. Lesson learned!I have only used it to open one can, but it worked very well. I could definitely hear a difference in the sound it was making once it was done going all the way around the can. It may take a little getting used to, but I love that there are no sharp edges on the lid.Very happy with this product.
