Title: Good value for the $$$
Review: They look nice, for paper shades I cannot complain. The sticky pad is not that great but I already expected that due to other reviews and just know that sticky stuff never works good anyway, I simply screwed it on both sides and it's perfect. It's not hard to cut with a good pair of scissors or even a santoku kitchen knife. The clips being heavy is a plus for me because it pulls it down right where I need it and I just kept clipping up a notch until it settled where I wanted it.

Title: Wish I Had Invented These!
Review: I moved several weeks ago to a newly-built house with no window coverings. I ordered shutters to put on my windows, but they were going to take 6 weeks to arrive. Before my move, I discarded sheets that I would not use anymore, so I had nothing to put cover my windows. Sheets were the only thing I knew of that I use. A friend of mine mentioned these shades, and I ordered them. WOW!!! They are awesome! Being a former teacher, the paper seemed to be the same kind of paper that I used to cover my bulletin boards. I joked that if I had invented these shades, I could have retired earlier!!!The shades easily attach to the top of my windows with sticky tape and have securely stayed there for several weeks. They are easy to raise and lower and the clips hold them in place. Also, they were a breeze to cut to the desired width. My windows are metal, so I attached the shades to the top of them. I cannot confirm that they won't peel the paint from sheetrock, but I did not want to chance it.I do know that the shades are NOT an eyesore like bed sheets would have been! Don't hesitate to buy.

Title: Does the job! (Use tape)
Review: I really liked the ease of "installing" this paper shade. I measured the width of my window, marked with a sharpie, and cut the shade with a box cutter. (Cutting the shade was the only difficult part.) I pressed the adhesive to my window for 30 seconds and left it alone, as instructed but within a minute, it immediately fell down so that was disappointing. The adhesive stuck to the shade, ripping it a bit and causing it to be wrinkled, but I fixed it as best I could and put it back up. I used Scotch tape on both ends and across the top to secure it. No issues after that! I decided against using the clips provided because I won't be opening and closing the shade and I felt they cheapened the look. The paper looks decent on its own. Moving forward, I'll use the Scotch tape and everything will be seamless!

Title: These really work!
Review: A lot of the reviews for these temp blinds say that the blue doesn't stay stuck. I haven't had that problem. First, the blinds were really easy to cut to size. I just used my kitchen butcher knife. No problem at all. I've had the temp blinds up for a week now and they haven't even peeled off a tiny bit. Still strongly stuck where I placed them. Will be using them for about 6 weeks until the permanent blinds are delivered. They give us the privacy we need without breaking the bank. Love 'em!!

Title: Absolute Rubbish
Review: Bottom Line: Did not stick to window frames for more than 24 hours (some much less than that), did not cover anywhere NEAR to the listed length (72") which is probably attributable to the pleats though should be considered false advertising, and one blind in a box of 6 was less than HALF the length and looks to be a case that material ran out of a machine when fabricating and nobody noticed.Long version: I have a new home with far too many large windows and no blinds. I needed something cheap and quick while I order real window treatments so my family could change their clothes without putting on an adult exhibition. I needed 30 windows covered and these blinds got good reviews from The Wirecutter so I gave it a go. I bought 5 boxes, cut them to the necessary sizes, and attached to the top of the window frame as directed by included instructions.Immediately it was clear that my 69" tall windows would not be effectively covered. Of my grievances with this product, this is the most acceptable. The 72" in the product description clearly refers to the length of the paper material and not the size of a window it covers. I should have *PERHAPS* done more due diligence here, but I think it's pretty poor game that the manufacturer doesn't give you a clue as to how big of a window these blinds cover. So, it sucks, I think it's not right, but I can maybe see where the mistake was mine and not the maker. However, one blind in the boxes I ordered was extremely too short, even when pulled entirely flat. This was clearly a mistake by the manufacturer. You can even see how the blind ends halfway through a pleat. Someone forgot to fill the machine and I got odd-end. Should have some better QC there. But the worst is that the blinds simply wouldn't stick. I have a new construction house, I don't know if the brand new paint on the windows made any difference, but of the 30 blinds I have hanging, I think maybe 5 or 6 have stayed up without falling. The rest of the 25+ fall daily, at odd times, and I have to climb up and hang them again (remember, 69" tall windows, I need a ladder to fix this) only for them to fall again the next day. On the second day of re-hanging, the blinds started to fall and stick to themselves, so now 3 are ruined because the paper tore trying to unstick the folds.I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product. I don't know if my experience is unique, but as far as stickiness goes, I had 5 boxes of this stuff and they all exhibited the same falling behavior, so I can't say it's just a lemon in my batch.I will note that I saw reviewers who suggested using a bit of rubbing alcohol on the window before sticking. I have done this in one case recently and it hasn't fallen again yet, but it's only just been over 24 hours (a new record). However, this tip about alcohol is not in the instructions and shouldn't be considered 'normal' hanging. Also, I think the reason this works is because the alcohol compromises the paint a bit (the whole upper sill became sticky to the touch after applying the alcohol) so I can't say this is a good approach if you ever hope to take these paper blinds down.

Title: Redi Shade Adhesive
Review: Ease of installation. Light Blocking. However, the adhesive on the Redi Shade needs to be better. Maybe a stronger sticky material. I cleaned area very thorough but shades still fell down after two hours. I had to apply double sided tape to help shades stay in place. Still fell down. Any suggestions

Title: Great for the cost!
Review: I bought these as temporary blinds when we moved into our remodeled home. It’s been 2 months and they are holding up great!!! Haven’t fallen off and do the job! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these for this temporary purpose again. They blocked enough morning light for my boys to sleep in during the summer. When it’s been breezy I’ve had to adjust the height so they don’t flap, but this is not surprising for what they are! I love how they have bought me time to think about what blinds I want to invest in. I’m hoping to get another handful of months out of them.

Review: Excellent! Used these until blinds for our new home arrived - which was about a month. Purchased enough for all the windows and they worked perfectly. Easy to trim to size with a sharp knife and also easy to stick up on the window. When you need to take them down, the tape does not remove the finish from your windows. In fact, they looked so nice up on my windows that company actually thought they were the permanent blinds I ordered. Highly recommend these for inexpensive, temporary blinds....they offered privacy and looked really nice. Easy to pin up when you want to look out the windows. Highly recommend. No complaints here.

Review: They are perfect. Made out of high quality paper and look amazing. Filter out light but not entirely. I am not regretting my purchase and that what matters. I would anyday choose these over traditional blinds in future. Long lasting.
