Title: Handy to have around!
Review: I won't do a video due to the fact there are several already that I found to be accurate. This little device is very handy to have around especially when you live in an are that gets storms often. I just ordered mine and have been testing it out.Solar Panel:I won't give 4 stars on the charging via solar panel due to the fact they make it very clear that it's a backup method for charging as it's slow to charge because the panel is small. It does work and will get you through in a clinch.Lights:The light on the end is very bright and has a nice dimmer for times when you don't need the full brightness. The top light is handy for adding a nice amount of light to a dark room rather than just being a direct light. I'm happy with the lights they work nicely and the brightness is great.Radio:I found the radio to be clear and the volume good as well. I was able to find a station that gives good info on my area, which is important when hurricane season comes around.Alarm:The alarm is loud but it's not going to deafen you if you need to use it close to you in an emergency when you may want to be found or easily located.Charging:With the power cord it charges pretty quickly, USB also charges it pretty quickly if you have a battery pack charger. The Crank is slower and tiering but that's to be expected. The solar panel is slower as well as I mentioned above both have been clearly outlined by the seller. They are for emergency use to give you enough power to use the radio, light, charge something up.I do appreciate the fact that you can charge it with several different methods as well as a battery backup I believe it's 3 AAA batteries.Crank, Solar, Electrical Outlet, USB, 3 AAA Batteries and rechargeable batteryIt's very sturdy! It's about the size of a brick. The case seems to be a very sturdy well made plastic. It has a carry strap. It's not heavy but it's not feather light either it's just right. It has ports to charge your phone, tablet etc. which is always helpful in an event you lose power.I recommend this product for anyone that needs a little extra piece of mind should you lose power or just enjoy camping or to keep in your vehicle.

Title: Nice to Know
Review: The first day we got this item it alarmed before we even knew bad weather was on its way. Nice to be informed so you can be aware and plan. This is a nice unit but being older I tried to set clock and the + / - buttons wouldn’t work for me. However my husband did get it to work pushing the buttons harder than I could do. The lights are nice and bright. Siren for alerts is very loud which is good if your a heavy sleeper. Do like the compact size for storing. Overall we would buy this product again. Living out in the country where we don’t have city sirens, glad to have this system.

Title: Survived outside in a severe thunderstorm
Review: I had placed this on my deck a few days ago in the sun to charge up the battery. I forgot to bring it in. Last night we had a severe thunderstorm with rains heavy enough the streets were flooded with 2-3 inches of water. After the storm I realized the radio had been sitting out fully exposed to the storm. It still works after letting it sit inside overnight.I have the analog dial version, so tuning is cumbersome but the station quality is comparable to other radios. Audio is decent for this type of radio, Not great but it works well enough. I wish it had a better solar panel for faster charging, and a larger LiIon battery. The included battery is marked as 21700E - 5000 mAh, 18.5 Wh, 3.7 V. Not bad, but I'm now seeing these radios with >10000 mAh batteries. Hand cranking works but is a lot of work for minimal power production. It is nice the LiIon battery is easily replaceable.Interestingly I just took the LiIon battery out, no AAA batteries installed, and in the sunlight the flashlight still worked just on solar power. Not sure how useful that is though! The radio and SOS alert did not work. I put the battery in my charger (Nitecore UMS4) and it indicates the battery is still in "Good" condition, however I was disappointed it only had ~1900mA of charge after sitting outside in sunny conditions for 3-4 days. I'll fully charge it on my charger and see what is the max charge it takes. As I said earlier, the 21700 battery is easily replaceable. According to Amazon I purchased this radio 3.5 years ago in Feb 2021.
