Title: Some Excellent Movie Themes
Review: I've been playing guitar a fairly long time and have found many of the pieces have some pretty challenging areas. As a music reader, I find the tabs annoying but they're there for those who don't read. Not being one who watches recent movies, I don't know some of the tunes (they're in the library online played by the author) but but there are some pretty nice classics that are fairly familiar: Ashoken Farewell, Themes from The Godfather, Schindler's List, Lara's Theme, The Pink Panther and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I was hoping something from Lord of the Rings, or Fiddler on the Roof would've been included, but still there is some good fun music in here many would enjoy.

Title: Excellent Arrangements .... but would be much better without tablature.
Review: I understand some guitarists like tablature, but standard notation only versions should be included. I don't think you'll find any player with the technique needed to do these arrangements justice unable to sight-read. We shouldn't have to flip through eight pages of tablature for these relatively short pieces.

Title:
Review: Like David’s last two volumes these arrangements take a bit of work and commitment but they reward the effort. All the voicing and harmonies work and they are extremely satisfying to play. There is a great selection of pieces and the book is worth the price for the arrangement of the love theme from Cinema Paradiso alone. David has also helpfully put some useful playing notes at the beginning and graded the pieces in terms of difficulty.
