Title: Hand wash, made in the USA, ice cream slips out easily
Review: It’s so easy to hand wash this ice cream scoop. I put a tad bit of hand soap in it and wash it under warm running water, dry it with a towel, and back into the drawer it goes. Because the heat of your hand “heats” the scoop as you use it, the ice cream slides out easily. It’s made in the USA, is sturdy, works as expected and I have absolutely no complaints.

Review: I've had this scoop for a while now and feel that I've used it often enough to make a good assessment of its abilities with regard to its claims. It's easy to clean, easy to use, and if you do what the instructions say to do, it does indeed make scooping ice cream easier. I think the claims of it just melting right through all opposition are a bit exaggerated, but can definitely tell a difference between this scoop and a regular spoon.Even if it's not quite as magical as the claims say it is, its heft and size make it much better for scooping ice cream than a spoon is, with way less risk of bending.It's imperative that whatever household buys this scoop is aware that it absolutely cannot be put through a dishwasher. If anybody in the household is dense, forgetful, or too young to remember and follow such instructions, I'd suggest second-thinking the purchase. Otherwise, I think it's a good gadget to have for households that eat ice cream.

Review: I'm an ice cream lover with arthritis and wrist problems, and sometimes rock-hard ice cream. I wish I bought this long before now. It's a lot easier to scoop out of containers and it makes beautiful scoops. Seriously. Even my guests noticed.I put way too much thought into which size scoop to get. One swipe and I get a good size for a cone, but this makes larger scoops easily. Just keep scoping without lifting it out of the container.The only drawback is that I live in fear that someone is going to put this in the dishwasher and ruin it. This cleans very easily by hand.

Review: This is a beautiful chrome ice cream scoop. BUT DON'T PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER!!!!!!! IT WILL DAMAGE THE OUTSIDE AND MAKE IT UNUSEABLE. TURNS INTO SOME BLACK SUBSTANCE.

Review: Fantastic scoop even in solid ice cream and the ball of ice cream just falls out without having to use another spoon to scrape it out of the scoop. Not dishwasher safe, but just rinse it off straight away with hot water, dry it and pop away in the draw.

Review: As it should be, it's made of polished aluminium so i melts hard ice-cream easy and makes perfect round balls. Because it is made of aluminium, don't put it in the dishwasher! Only wash by hand with warm water. If some one complain about it getting a bad colour and a matt surface, they put it in the dishwasher. Don't do that, it will kill the aluminium. The body is solid aluminium but the handle is not solid, that's the only thing I can "complain" about. I'm very happy with it and don't understand why I spent so much money on bad scoops before I got this one. Its worth the money!
