Raise your expectations of an air purifier and ensure a lower total cost of ownership over the years. Other brands may suggest replacing the filters every six months; that can really add up! The SHARP long-life True HEPA filter, long-life Activated Carbon filter, and Humidifying filter all last up-to 2 years, depending on the environment. The KCP110UW meets the strict energy efficiency criteria to earn the ENERGY STAR® Rating. According to energystar.gov, Energy Star Rated products use less energy, save you money on your electricity bill, and help protect the environment by causing fewer harmful emissions from power plants.

The triple filtration system helps clean the air that passes through the filters in three ways. The washable, microscreen pre-filter traps dust and other large airborne particles. The activated carbon deodorizing filter helps reduce some common household odors. Finally, the True HEPA filter effectively captures 99.97% of particles from the air that passes through the filter from 0.3 microns and larger. The KCP110UW includes a humidifier that may make your home more comfortable.

Beyond passive filtration, our KCP110UW features Plasmacluster™ Ion Technology for an active cleaning process. SHARP Plasmacluster™ Ion Technology has been tested around the world by laboratories in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, China, and Vietnam.

The KCP110UW is AHAM Verifide Tested to provide a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) for three common irritants and allergens, Smoke (347), Dust (352), and Pollen (443). It is certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet its strict emission standards.

The KCP110UW features Max, Med, and Low fan speeds, plus Auto. In Auto mode, the dust and odor sensors will monitor your air quality and adjust the fan speed automatically. The convenient fixed caster wheels make it easy to move the KCP110UW from room to room.

Additional settings available in the app and via voice command include Sleep, Pollen, and Express Clean Modes. Weekly Scheduler, Filter Replacement Status, Auto Presence ON/OFF, and Air Quality Information History are also exclusively available in the SHARP AIR App. The Library Quiet™ Sleep setting is perfect for the bedroom.

SHARP Plasmacluster™ Ion Technology has been used in over 100 million products worldwide, including leading auto makers and refrigeration appliance manufacturers. It’s no wonder people around the world trust SHARP. Now that is Simply Better Living.

Title: SHARP Smart Air Purifier + Humidifier: The Ultimate Solution for Clean and Comfortable Air
Review: I've been using the SHARP Smart Air Purifier + Humidifier for a few months now, and I can confidently say it has significantly improved the air quality in my home. This device not only purifies the air but also maintains optimal humidity levels, making it perfect for all seasons. One of the standout features is its compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant. This makes controlling the purifier incredibly convenient, especially when my hands are full. I can easily adjust settings or check the air quality with simple voice commands, which has been a game-changer in my daily routine. The Plasmacluster ion technology is impressive and effectively removes allergens, bacteria, and even odors from the air. I've noticed a considerable reduction in dust and pet dander, which is essential for my family, as we have allergy sufferers. The air feels fresher, and there's a noticeable difference in our overall comfort.Another highlight is the device's quiet operation. Whether it's running on low or high, it's barely noticeable, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful environment without any disturbance. The sleek design fits perfectly in any room, blending seamlessly with our home decor.Overall, the SHARP Smart Air Purifier + Humidifier has exceeded my expectations. It's a versatile, efficient, and smart addition to any home, providing clean, healthy air with the convenience of modern technology. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their indoor air quality.

Title: CADR Ratings are what to look for--this one is GREAT
Review: Sharp has the Plasmacluster technology that CAN be TURNED OFF. It produces zero to very low levels of ozone and is tested to be perfectly safe. I checked the gov't site to verify which air purifiers are considered safe from ozone--All of Sharps made the list. They have been one of the leading air purifier brands in Japan for decades. The CADR ratings are some of the highest available without spending thousands of dollars. And they are AHAM certified. Third party testing is nice to see and should be used when comparing the multitude of air purifiers on the market. I have purchased 3 of these and several other older model Sharp air purifiers--my older ones are still going strong after 7 years of constant daily use. Yes, replacement filters can be pricey. But these are TrueHEPA and the secondary (odor) filters have a nice amount of charcoal pieces in them not simply foam with a charcoal coating. I get frustrated seeing the advertising for other purifiers on the market that claim to be the best while boasting of having all these fabulous features, BUT their CADR ratings are low--that is the AIR EXCHANGE RATE verified by a third party company, so PAY ATTENTION TO THE CADR RATINGS. Air purifiers move air--the more air movement going through the machine to clean the surrounding air, the cleaner the air in the room. These Sharp units are 352/347/443 (dust/smoke/pollen) Beat that!I should add: I use mine WITHOUT utilizing the humidifier function. Nice option to have if I ever decide I need it though…Again, GreaT unit!

Title: Massive improvements over the previous models.
Review: I have the older KC860U and this KCP110UW. They both do a fantastic job of cleaning the air and humidifying. Some reviews complain about them not humidifying the air and I think that's because they may be used to cheap humidifiers that mist water all over the place. If you fill the tank up in these and the water disappears, it's obviously going into the air. The air filter system on both is well thought out and easy to maintain and clean. The largest difference with the newer models that sets them worlds apart is the humidifying system. The KC models have a side tank that feeds water into another plastic tray, that is then picked up by a much more complicated and harder to clean wicking filter. It works, and I've had it for a few years problem free, but it is such a pain to clean and I've noticed it picks up odors more than the newer unit. The new KCP units have a simple open top tank that slides out with a nice carry handle and a completely exposed wicking filter with no weird plastic shroud around it. You can easily slide the filter out of the tank for cleaning and it just makes the entire filling process a whole lot easier. The newer KCP unit also has wheels for easily moving. I think the design aesthetics are much cleaner. I like that the lights are hidden from view unless looking at it from above. I really think the engineers nailed it on all the improvements and I hope this design sticks for future models. The is the bees knees of air purifiers/humidifiers and makes a dramatic difference on our indoor air quality, especially in the dry winter months of Wyoming.

Title: Support was good until...
Review: I purchased this air purifier + Humidifier from Amazon US and it was shipped fairly quickly and it arrived quickly too, considering that it was shipped to the Middle East.I started unpacking it and setting it up per the instructions and the first issue I ran into was that you cannot download the Sharp Air app for Android from my country. In order to use the full features of this device, such as daily scheduleing, you need the app. So, I contacted the Sharp US support and they told me this model is designed for USA only. They replied within 24 hours and they were very friendly. So, I had another follow up question a couple of days later regarding the humidification function and they also replied in a friendly manner within 24 hours.Few days later, we had a nasty sand storm in our area and the Sharp air purifier was showing 85 on its little display for PM2.5, which is very high for an indoor area. I had the purifier set on the Auto fan speed at that time and I expected it to ramp up its fan speed to clean the air in the room, since it was set on auto, at least that's what my other Dyson air purifier was doing which was in the same room. I have two air purifiers in this room because it is quite large, about 1000 square feet. So, the auto function on the Sharp air purifier was not working as expected. I contacted support again to explore how I might fix this issue and I received absolutely no response.I may have received a faulty device or maybe that's why it was on 25% sale on Amazon.
