I'm sure that all of us, on one or more occasions, have wished for our Mother's recipe for one dish or another.
I have been on a quest to duplicate my Mom's Meatloaf and her delicious Macaroni and Cheese.
Since I am from the Southern US, when I found a recipe with title "Macaroni and Cheese Southern Style" I wondered if this could be the one.
Tina and I made 2 of these Mac' and Cheese dishes on the same day. The answer is in the book.

Title: New, Cookbooks for treats and everyday foods for everyone's collection.
Review: I guess that if anything is true, I have learned that cooking is not easy for a person like me. I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my Dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him, and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it was good to be a girl, but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions.

Title: Now That's The Way To Make It!
Review: Now that's a really great recipe! I love the detailed step by step process and the pictures to guide you through. This may very well be one recipe that's tough to mess up. The only thing I did find was that I wanted more! But that's just me because it's crystal clear this is a "recipe singles." Good stuff - 🙂

Title: My grandkids loved this recipe
Review: I picked this up because I was trying to think of something new to serve for an an upcoming family get together. Since all kids love Mac and Cheese, I thought this would be the perfect side.This recipe was a big hit and there were several requests that I not lose this recipe(I'm famous for trying new recipes and then forgetting where I got them) as it's a keeper. This is an excellent recipe, very rich and creamy that I'll be making again. If you're a Mac and Cheese fan, be sure and give this a try.

Review: This is a single recipe "cookbook " for baked Mac & Cheese. There's a picture for each step and the full recipe (plus a variation, so 2 recipes?). I'm not from the South and I may want to add seasoned bread crumbs on top.

Review: I love macaroni and cheese and this recipe has to be better than one out of a box! I love the steps with pictures and it does look easy. I'm glad he didn't use block cheese and used grated instead as I think the results turned out better. 😉
